Started out green, but with time opening up to an amazing blend. So clean, so supple tannin, so detailed, this wine is just dense and great among the detailed spice and smooth linearity. Suppressing every expectation of the vintage. 94-95

Pnp, medium+ garnet, plent of red fruits and hint of stemmy nosr akin to Dugat Py's, not in any bad way. Almost painfully concentrated on palate, lovely fruits sweetness with fresh acidity, very restrained use of oak in which the spice was only lingering into a long finish. Very good value for Dujac in a 'poor' year, wanna buy more.

Slightly to highly opaque garnet color. Lots of rim variation and no sediment. No flaws. Very light nose. Low fruit and earth intensity. Organic. Some leather, iron and blood. Bone dry. Medium acid. Medium minus tannin. Low alcohol. Medium finish. Our guests: "Beautiful tawny color". "The epitome of old world". Improved with two hours of open bottle time. REady to drink.

HDH auction tasting at Tru; 5/17/2013-5/18/2013 (Chicago, IL): A ripe cherry and strawberry nose with none of those green meanies that everyone talks about. Hints of Christmas spice. The palate doesn't have great length or depth; on the other hand, there's no denying the sheer girl-next-door-style prettiness of this wine. The palate is fresh with some flavours of overripe berries. The lesson to be learned here is not to discriminate against certain vintages. The best producers will still do well.

Lovely nose, with lifted, warm red berry characters of some depth and complexity.
Palate follows nose, with nice weight and mouth feel, a smooth richness and a long and emphatic finish. Some sappiness suggests it needs more cellaring time but is lovely now at 7 years of age.
A classy wine, with plenty of character and worthy of the Charmes-Chambertin reputation.

Medium ruby, clear. Powerful nose; perfume, minerals and some oak. Black fruits, forward, very elegant in the mouth and has a smoky finish. A bit too much oak for my liking. Well balanced, soft tannins.

Warm blue fruit, stemmy, great energy but somewhat less supple on the palate than the bottle last year. 93

Very interesting wine with notes of a tobacco flavor. Color is heading towards brown. I wouldn't store this one much longer

The night was a bit fuzzy, but this wine, while very nice, did not stand out. No green, but certainly lighter bodied with some herbaceousness.

Animal, earthy nose; black cherries; mid-big body; semi-chewy; good fruit and flavor; a little tight, not lush.

Very good, not great...my expectations were higher....just too tightly wound, acidic, but fruit very vibrant still.
