WSET Level 2 Class; 9/13/2018-11/4/2018 (The Texas Wine School): Acceptable quality sweet white wine that is clear, pale lemon in color. On the nose, it's clean with a pronounced intensity. It has aromas and flavors of grapes, prunes, florals, roses, and sugar. On the palate, it's sweet with medium acidity, full body, and a long finish.
For me, this wine was not very well balanced; it was just simply sweet grapiness with intense aromas and flavors therein. Not very complex, not really enjoyable. It might be better paired with a dessert but otherwise, not for me.

Pale lemon. Nose of dried apricot, tarragon, rosemary and dried herbs, no suggestion of sweetness. The palate does with a nice round mouth fill, poached apricots, tinned peaches, tarragon, rosemary alcohol a little prominent. Nice acidity though and very enjoyable.

Yep, too late for this one - wasn't quite true vinegar but close enough that it went down the drain.

Corked. Matt pulled a port as backup — was good with vanilla ice cream.

White rose petals, pears and honey. floral. Could use just a touch more acidity.

Slightly corked. Also lacking acidity. Too bad; really liked some of the nose.

Beautiful nose of floral honey and fresh-crushed grapes. The taste is about the same, with lots of pear on the finish.
