Developed yellow color, without the brown. Very nice aromas dominated by yellow apples, butter, forest floor, and a touch of mushroom. Nice acidity that plays well with the fruit and depth of the wine. My best (and last) bottle.

A beautiful bottle, and seemed like it might even benefit from some more age. Rather intense nose with loads of lemon and citrus peel. Still not showing much secondary, just the slightest hint of nuttiness. Beautiful acidity on the palate, with great stony minerality and soft bubbles.

Champagnesmaking av 1996 årgangen (Oslo): Moden nese med autolyse og et lite preg av sjø. Moden frukt. Bra driv og den har en flott rikhet i frukten. Takler syren på en pen måte. Finishen sitter som et skudd med et strøkent syre og mineralbitt. Flott vin!

For min smak har den fått plenty tid på bunnfall men ikke for mye. En intensitet på nesen man kun finner i viner fra denne årgangen, og i motsetning til mange andre er ikke syrenivået så høyt at ikke frukten henger med. Jeg antar full malo. Friske hvite frukter med antydning til eplejus. Sitter lenge og har et distinkt særpreg i strukturen som på en måte trykker bakover i ganen idet syren biter i tennene. Jada jeg vet det der kan se svulstig ut men det er mitt notat og jeg skriver alt jeg synes beskriver Jeg tror den vil være bedre ved ca 30 års alder, modningen her skjer sent!
This is quite good even though it lacks an adequate mousse. The champagne is fresh with great acidity..lots of chalk and minerality with deep golden fruit with a hint of nut and yeast

Opened for 20 min. Alluring nose with yeast, apples and ripe white fruit... It's difficult to move on from these intense aromas. On palate it has medium acidity, very minera with a yeast, calcareous feeling. Fruit is someohow hidden or gone, some citrus, some baked apple. It finishes with a medium to short finish. This started great but went downhill to the finish, palate (88+) did not stand to the bouquet (91+).

Opened for an hour. Lively, a bit dark golden color. Barely bubbles. Pastry, citrus, oxidized, chalk, mineral on nose. Mineral on palate, honey, smooth, tasty, very nice. Bottle disgorged on April 2008.

Giallo paglierino scarico, naso mela gialla didascalica con pera verde, molta frutta al naso con punte di mineralità scura, bocca sapida, boll aun pò grossolana, sa di ardesia e marmo il finale .

Deep golden. Hefty mousse, that died quite quickly in the glass. It smelled of newly baked bread and yellow apples. Round, moderate length, and lacking a bit in grip, acidity, and structure. Rather developed.

This was very, very nice. Nose of marshmallow, caramel, a little toasty oak, lots of yeast, citrus and a little oxidized. Coming from the great 1996 vintage, the wine was very vibrant and drank very well.
