Pop and pour. Aromas of earth, tar, cherry and iron. This us thick with flavors of vanilla, iron, blackberry and cherry. Ends with an impressive 20 second finish.

An average bottle of wine. Not very complex, but will balanced. It's slightly fruity forward and fine tannins show up on the finish. Drinks ok alone, but exceptionally well with food (brings out more interesting flavors). A decent deal as an everyday meal wine.

Aromas show leather and dried rose notes on top of plum, forrest grown blackberry, earth, cigar box and herbs. The palate is is medium/medium-plus carrying juicy medium-plus acidity, medium/medium-plus chewy tannins and flavors of blackberry, plum, earth, leather, dried flowers, herbs, wood and dried cherry. Lingering on through the chewy and juicy finish. Overall a great QPR

Goes with and without food. Not huge- but definitely fruity and a medium long finish. Nice spice in there as well as distinct black cherry notes. Totally enjoyable. Nicely tannic.

Great Tuesday-night bottle. Simple, nothing "off", nothing exceptional. Good qpr.

Dark berries, earth, and enough acidity for food. A lovely weekday Rioja. Will buy more.

Wow, this is a great example of what QPR means. Ripe fruit but also some secondary oak. True crowd pleaser and available for a pittance!

Black cherry and vanilla on the nose, cherry throughout. Balanced tannin fruit and acidity. Good value!
