Ravinia at Home (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Apple and lemon with so much precision and oyster shell brightness and crunchiness. Very long finish. Better today vs one year ago, and certainly further upside from here.

I found this wine to be farily genreous for a "clasic" vintage" at a young age. Ripe yellow apple profile with good depth and length.Power w/o being overdone. Good freshness but not mouth puckering. Balanced. Very salty.

Quite tart, sharp lemon but with air shower more complexity and developed nice saline and mineral notes. Still a bit high toned. Maybe let rest another year or two?

Super tight on night 1 -- well made but very tart lemon flavor and very high acid. As much as I love those flavors, it was a bit unbalanced in that direction and lacked a little of the non-lemon fruit and roundness that completes a great Chablis for me. Day two was much better, still dominated by lemon but more candied than tart. This needs another 4-6 years I'd say.
Rating is for the second day -- if you are going to drink it in one night I would highly suggest a 1-2h decant and let it get closer to room temp.

Nicely floral start with lemon and green apple aromas. Similar flavors with an intense minerality and bright acidity. Very classically Chablis textures, just slightly moderate level of fruit given the structure. 88 points tonight, but 89-90 point potential. I will cellar my remaining bottles for a few more years.

I let this Audoze for 2 hours as dinner was being prepared, keeping it cool the entire time, and it seems the effort was well worth it. This was giving right away, hitting quite a number of notes that are important to me - earth: soil, minerals, saline, chalk, and fruit: some orchard, a strip of tropical and some toothy stone notes. Good>very good, this may very well have a solid future. Better with some air, as everything gets more aligned. recommended

Nose: The nose is fresh and lively with a good dose of gun flint, seashells, crushed rocks, pears, lemon zest, and green apples. There is excellent depth along with a sense of class and style.
Taste: Medium bodied with high acidity. The acidity is mouthwatering and crisp, but it's not too over powering. The feel is light on its feet with gun flint, crushed rocks, pears, and green apples.
Overall: This is basically everything I want from a Chablis at this stage. Yes, it's young, but it's extremely giving and lovely.

My first '14 White Burg, and this is very auspicious. Medium nose of citrus and white flowers, the palate here is medium bodied with intense fruit, intense prickly minerality, and nice lift. Doesn't quite have grand cru texture or density, but the concentration, balance, and purity of the fruit are top notch. This really punches above its weight. Impressive showing, to say the least.
A small spring selection (Prince wine store): Savoury with stony notes, citrus, muted orchard fruits, touches of sweet spice. Tangy and juicy with quite muted flavours of apple and slight spice. Burry on the mid palate. Again, quite sharp

Like licking wet stones. Lots of minerality. Though still showing very young. Needs more time.

Obviously very young, tart lemon peel good length and volume. Reminds me of 2007 or 2004 very good not as elegant as 2013 at this moment
