This is well past the date most would say it should be opened, but you know what? It's still very good. There's structure here, and a pleasant round and full body. Chardonnay and Viognier (which are blended 50/50 in this) should be combined more often. The former provides food friendly gravitas and the latter gives a floral character that sets it apart.

This is holding up quite well. Medium bodied, with good fruit. Not much in the way of oak presence. Niether blend really dominates. Smooth, with a good finish.

been a while since I've had a bottle. notes are from the 5th night of this being open (vacuum sealed in the frig) - still clean - just as nice - possibly nicer than first night. clean - some wild flowers and pollen. looking back at price - I'm pretty astonished at the QPR on this.

OUTSTANDING One of the best California whites I have tasted. Great citrus and peachy nose. Very refreshing smell. I can really taste the Chardonnay on the front end and then right in the Mid-Pallate the Viognier kicks in smoothing the acidic flavors down and balancing the wine quite nicely. Solid Finish.

A big, bold wine. A nose that is all grape, peach and a hint of citrus. On the tongue it explodes with citrus, pear, pineapple and a hint of floral fruit. There is an underlying minerality that arises from the fresh acidity.

A bit monolithic for me. Loads of citrus and I do get a hint of orange peel like Parker does. I think the problem is with the integration of the dryness of the chard and sweetness of the Viogner.

Floral Nose almost tropical, very lush mid palate with crisp acidity on the finish. Drank without food - a great wine for the money...highly recommended!

Fragrant, floral, honeysuckle, peachy (Viognier) nose. Delicious tastes of chardonnay, tropical fruits, honeysuckle. Lively acidity, medium dry, and well-balanced. Long finish. Great with spicy food.

Very light color -- a golden water color. A nice slightly yeasty, floral nose with a hint of marshmellow. Acid, dry, and very subtle hint of mellon on the palate. Not bad -- particularly as a second bottle, particularly when you're already 3-sheets.

13.5% alcohol. 50% chardonnay, 50% viognier, santa maria valley.
wow! i love this wine. i picked it up at costco today for about $16, and i will be returning to load up on it.
very crisp acidity and lovely balance. the viognier gives it a hint of minerality that really shines. there is just a touch too much oak, yet i still feel the wine has much to recommend it. it's almost grassy/ sauvignon blanc on the nose. there is a rich and satisfying finish. VERY nice! recommended.

Purchased off the Lovell's wine list for $45. Quite nice. Bright peach and apricot flavors, with floral notes. Medium-bodied. Drink now.
