Very good. My third time with this now since it was released. I loved it then, I love it now, and I've loved it in between. I'd be in N. Rhone in a blind, do I need to really say any more? Rustic at times, feral almost. Another glass may pour more elegantly, more refined. Then it switches it up again; love it. Dark red, some black fruit, meat, game, forest, savory. Boom. More complete on day 2. 14,0% abv. Now, and next 4-6 years. highly recommended
Vinitaly 2016; 4/10/2016-4/13/2016 (Verona, Italy): The fruit is brighter, black fruit, tobacco, a few flowery notes, the alcohol is evident again, lacks in body and concentration, short to medium black fruit finish, the oak is more upfront.

Académie des Cinquante Tuscany Tasting (Buitenplaats Amerongen / Restaurant Bentinck, Amerongen, NL): Jammy and come-hither fruit on the nose, stables, warm spices; juicy and lively palate with lots of sweet fruit, peppery and fresh, finely grained tannins grow firmer with oxygen; good resonance and length.
