    Rich and powerful nose, high intensity, big ripe red and black fruits, leather, beautiful, nice sweet spices, forest floor, while the palate shows a very seductive profile, full ripe and leather notes, red and black fruits, glorious tannic structure, as old world as it can get, long chocolate infused finish.
    One of the best wines in Vinitaly

    This one is a white Aglianico which I’m guessing takes guts to think and then make. Impressive and interesting nose, rich with ripe sweet fruit, vanilla, floral with notes of red fruits. In the palate, the wine shows red fruits, white chocolate, nice body, lively acidity and med finish

    Beautiful rich amber color, extrovert nose offering great complexity, rich ripe fruit, honey, syrup, ripe/overripe pear, pineapple, apricot, tin peach, sweet spices. The palate is full sweet but not cloying, nice balancing acidity, syrup again, honey, tin pineapple, peach and apricot, intense, great silky mouthfeel, with really long
    ripe-stone-fruit-with-cinnamon-sprinkled-on-top finish.
    Outstanding quality, great balance, very rich and oh so easy to like. Expensive but I’d buy it without second thought

    The nose in this is extraordinary, rich, floral, tropical with peach, spicy and nutty as well. The palate is equally beautiful, rich with ripe/overripe fruit, syrup and honey, pineapple and apricot, full tropical tin and fresh, great texture, long finish. Absolutely stunning

    The wine shows red fruit, loads of rose notes, liquer and candied fruit. The palate is soft, red fruits again, well made jam, refreshing and balancing acidity, med/med+ body, silky texture, med finish. Lacking the wow factor and complexity of Passito Anthos but outstanding altogether.

    Ripe apricot and peach, tin pineapple, some indian spice nuances, there is green pear element here as well. The palate is full, ripe apricot, peach, dried apricot, nice body and complexity, nice long finish flavored with dried apricot and soft oak notes. Outstanding quality

This needs time, but outstanding quality and a great way to end the Vinitaly fair.

    The fruit is brighter, black fruit, tobacco, a few flowery notes, the alcohol is evident again, lacks in body and concentration, short to medium black fruit finish, the oak is more upfront.

    The vines for this wine are 20-30yo. Nice sweet profile in the nose with ripe red cherries, berries with vanilla. In the palate, the wine follows the same pattern, ripe red fruit, powerful acidity, thin oak frame, med complexity, short to med finish, should be nice with a few years on its back

    Served from 375ml bottle, Malvasia-Trebbiano with 20% Sangiovese, small 100lt oak barrels for 7 years and then 1 year in the bottle, 130 gr/lt of sugar.
    Beautiful honey like color, very rich in the nose, overripe apricot, peach, tin apricot, honey, syrup, candied walnut, nice frame, sweet spice. The palate is quite round, balanced, the profile the one from the nose, nice acidity, oak/nutty nuances, great mouthfeel, med to long coffee infused finish. Outstanding

    +5% Cabernet Franc in this one. The wine shows a nice beautiful nose, classic Cabernet Sauvignon, full of green bell pepper, toasted oak, tobacco, black berry and cherry. The palate is soft, nice tannins with a touch of alcohol, almost sweet in the palate, easy to drink, lacking in body, med finish filled with black fruit.

    Pure Cabernet Sauvingon here, offering dense red and black cherry and berry, some floral notes, nice oak frame, prunes, rich in the palate, dense black fruit again, quite full, rich but elegant oak work, extrovert, long finish, nice tight tannins, very fresh.
