This Estate Grown Pinot features grape clones from Pommard and Dijon, which typically delivers smoky cherry notes On the palate the wine was clean and crisp with earthy black cherries and hints of spice. We had it with a charcuterie board and it was gorgeous. At only 6 years, it is drinking nicely now, especially if your preference is fresh primary fruits over earthier dried fruit versions of Pinot, but could easily go another 5 years.

Ripe, bit jammy fruits in the nose. Quiet fresh and very drinkable. Not worth collaring, I think. Enjoy it ls fruit and drink up. Simple, hedonistic wine.

A decent wine but I am not getting much Pinot character. While the nose is subtly perfumed, the color is darker than I would expect. Blind, I might have guessed a southern Rhone grenache. Plenty of fruit in the mouth but a surprisingly long dry finish. An excellent food wine though, particularly with ribeye tried so fat.

his Carneros Pinot Noir from Schug is perhaps a bit too ripe on the nose as the fruit is almost cooked. Strawberry, lots of sweet spices and a bit VA. Even though it has this ripe fruit picture the acidity is brisk and sharp.

Edge Restaurant in Miami, by the glass. PnP, drank over 45 minutes.
Medium garnet color, some cloudiness. Bright red fruits on the nose, caramel and cookie dough (my daughter identified this in another carneros Pinot...). Palate of cherry, red berries, rhubarb, vanilla. Some sweetness on the mid palate. Medium finish
Nice enough, may improve with time but doesn't seem to be anything special...

had a very earthy mouthfeel, light fruit and smoke, good structure and mid length finish. Went well with an equally earthy shitaki mushroom soup

Very jammy and fruity, consistent with other reviews. Drinks well, but not a typical Pinot in my opinion.
