  • Everything about this wine is bold and pronounced but with plenty of style and elegance to match the swagger. A great wine to drink with smoked ribs and sausage on a cool Texas Hill Country spring evening. It is still fairly youthful and primary and should continue to evolve for several more years.

  • Deepest inky purple...heavy viscosity....
Nose is deep framboise, jammy, lavender, bit of alcohol fume...
Flavor is raspberry, chocolate, leather, black pepper, drying big tannins,....
Wine could be better with a bit more finesse...
Back off the extraction and alcohol and it could unveil more nuance.
91 but you have to like the style..
