  Everything about this wine is bold and pronounced but with plenty of style and elegance to match the swagger. A great wine to drink with smoked ribs and sausage on a cool Texas Hill Country spring evening. It is still fairly youthful and primary and should continue to evolve for several more years.

  Deepest inky purple...heavy viscosity....
  Nose is deep framboise, jammy, lavender, bit of alcohol fume...
  Flavor is raspberry, chocolate, leather, black pepper, drying big tannins,....
  Wine could be better with a bit more finesse...
  Back off the extraction and alcohol and it could unveil more nuance.
  91 but you have to like the style..
