Gold and unctuous in the glass with a shy nose. On the palate, sweet green apple and apple Jolly Rancher, pineapple, honey. Medium body, mild acidity, and medium finish.

1-004. Scent of almonds, honeysuckle, ripe apple, pineapple. After giving it some air it starts to lean to melon and petrol. Less dry than I had hoped; I taste most of all pear, pineapple. Very well made and long taste, but for me personally just not dry enough to really impress.

From Magnum. Drunk as aperitif in good company and everybody loved it. Just barely sweet, this showed some serious complexity, while it is at the same time drinking very well and "easy". Wow!

Definitely a richer style but still quite elegant. Fairly effusive with the fruit. Good with annual Christmas Dinner of middling take-out Chinese. Have 11 more, will likely sit on them for a few years before pulling another one.

Petrol, stone and lime aromas are what I smell, and the petrol goes away quickly. Good acid that hits you immediately. Not loads of fruit, fairly restrained. But there some green apple in there I can get - fruit does come out more as it warms up a little bit. Finish is quite long. Nice one.

Candied pear and brown sugar nose. Nice acidity which stings the tip of your tongue upon first taste. Balanced out with smooth roundness later. Notes of pear, green apple and kiwi.

This shows a kaleidoscope of flavors from orange blossom to Apple to citron and a touch of spice. Wonderful texture here, while initially this lacked some presence in the middle it quickly filled out, showing a dense, extracted body that avoids being clumsy or heady. Well balanced and really long, consistent finish.
Very good to excellent - drink or hold

The fruit expression on the nose is, surprisingly, on blood oranges, but not only as there are elegant, mineral, chalky notes, and at some points, as it warmed up in the glass, even some exotic fruit. All in a fine, elegant nose. I find blood oranges on the palate too, the sweetness is almost unnoticeable, the balance impeccable and the lightness deceiving. Juicy, it makes you salivate and look for the next sip. Just splendid.

Stupendous. Grabs hold from the first taste. Stone, lemon, yellow peach, moderate sweetness, and mouth-watering acidity. Good nose, too, with a little petrol and yellow fruit. Lively and luscious.

Jeez, why don't I buy more of these for the cellar? This is fantastic and one of the very best 2014s I've had, along with the Lieser WS Kabinett. A spectrum of fruit ranging from riper red apples and peachy notes to more tart green apple and lemon flavours, and beneath is a base of slate and stone. It's very light on its feet with fantastic acidity and not much sweetness - this comes across as classic Kabinett, not a Spätlese in a Kabinett wrapper. Fabulous wine.

AJ Adam has the ability to do wondrous things when balancing RS and acid. This bottle is pure harmony with unmatched focus. This is a stunner and better than when I last tasted it. This is what I want when reaching for a Mosel Kabinett. Bravo!

Really light. Nice crisp acidity with more RS presence than you may expect for a Kabinett Tree fruit as wel as an interesting salty/river water note. Paired with Sichuan food.

Perfect balance of acid and sugar. This is in such a perfect early to medium stage of maturity.

Easy drinking: low alcohol content and deliciousness meant that two of us polished the bottle off in a little under two hours.

Pronounced spritz; hessian, hayfield, foursquare; a touch heavy, spritzy. Broad. expansive finish. Drink over the medium term.

Consistent to previous bottle. On the weightier side, more broadsword than rapier. Very drinkable.

Buttercup colour; pineapple, blancmange, zesty, white blossom; classic Kabinett, refreshing acidity, good extract, weight appears mid-palate; finishes quietly, lacking focus.
