I said I’d leave the next one until 2025 but here I am in March 2024 and I’ve opened the second one. Completely consistent with the last time, in 2021, and still a decade of life, or more, ahead of it. Definitely no rush but it’s hard to resist right now.

Drank too soon in my opinion… huge wine, that needs more time to soften and drop some of the greenness. But great structure and will last another 10 years. Bit pricey but will be a great wine

Graceful, fresh, & leafy Cab Franc character, combined with richness, weight a & power. Youthful purple, very deep, IMO.
The nose is cassis, burnt toast & raspberry, leafy tobacco.
While the nose is attractive, the palate is intense & exciting. Vibrant fruit, raspberry, cassis, black cherry, leads into a richness of hazelnut & milk chocolate, then delicate spice and blackcurrant leaf.
High acidity, medium + ripe tannins, high alcohol which is already a joy to drink, but should improve.

Good on the first day, great on the second. Ripe fruit but not over the top, a slight bitterness (in a good way) and complex. Delicious and wish I hadn't drunk the first bottles too early!

Fabulous wine. And going to be utterly amazing. Leave it in your cellar, for now, if you have a few, and open in 2025 or later. Today it’s beautifully rich, round and integrated but almost too smooth. I think it will improve from here and be worth the wait.

Good shit. Green pepper. Pepper. Cinnamon. This is lovely directly from go. Full-bodied. Christmas feeling. Showing no signs of deterioration. I'm getting two feelings at once. Glad I'm drinking this wine. It's a pearl. And sad that I only bought one bottle two years ago.
Drinking only half now so will be back for grade. But it will be high.
Day 2 and it's gone from very good to marvellous. Luxiourios in the mouth. Liqourice today. Good now and maybe even better later.

Singing. PnP really lovely, with "the right kind of" green pepper from the cab franc backed up by generous dark fruit, and just a little grip. No hurry, but drinking very well.

All 5 Bordeaux varietals. 1/4 new Fr oak. Made 24 barrels. 45 percent Cabernet Franc. Big berry nose, light wood; mid-big body; balanced; long rich finish. Will improve with age.

Another wine I haven’t had in years. Certainly a step up from previous tastings, but not the top vintage for MRdC.
Still tight. Classical notes of cedar and cassis but not an epic vintage. Good glugger though.

Strong green pepper from the Cab Franc. Delicious but will improve. Drink or hold.
