From magnum, and still shows a bit of oak but in a nicely compressed kinda way. A bit fresh on the palate in this field of dense powerful red wines. With some tannin and structure on the back. A little bit chewy, maybe a little bit dried out.

Last of 2 bottles. Delicious with pork and glazed carrots and broccoli. Nicely ripened black fruits, with some tar and pepper to add complexity. Bright acidity, fine tannins with good persistence, and a very nice and mouth drying finish. Drink now through 2021+.

In its prime. Dense, concentrated dark fruit, coffee, cocoa, leather, quite rich and big-bodied for a Barbera. Excellent with lighter meat dishes, pasta, casseroles.

Deep ruby color. Muted nose of dark fruit. Still juicy, but coming more into balance since last tasing in January. Soft tannins with a medium acidity. Dark fruit predominates. Should only get better over the next year. Excellent value. A decant before serving helps open things up.

Very nice, lively and tasty; flavours pretty much consistent with previous, although it has matured somewhat now. Coffee, cherries, meat, chili, cocoa, fried green bell pepper, hint of hickory. Good length, lots of time left.

Pleasant and enjoyable. Cherry, sloe, black olives and mint on the nose which is of medium concentration. Palate is fresh, fruit-driven and with a lovely acidic (m to m+) backbone. M concentration, m- tannin, m finish.
edit: obvious cocoa and some vanilla on the nose

Viol. Helt underbar. En hel del tanniner kvar, men eftersom några har blivit ättika så vågar jag inte spara. Detta är sen sista.
Lovely

Deliciously round, bursting with red fruit and a tart, acidic finish that goes for days. Needs food, but who am I to complain?
