Merlot and Cab F dominate, oaky texture, firm supple tannins give nice structure. Balanced with moderate acidity, dark berries, spice and mineral, some mocca on finish. Spice and black fruit emerge more strongly later in glass

Clear medium to deep ruby red. Layered nose with floral notes, red currants, black cherries, raspberries, a touch candied and almost a sweet spice. Medium tannins and bodied. Strawberries on the palate with some spices and brambles near the finish. A little dry with a medium plus finish. Needs time to fully integrate and balance out. Drink from 2019 till 2023+. (88+)

Over the course of a meal, the initial sour cherry ripens and develops into an appealing blend of subtle tannins and red acidity
Nice

A good new world Bordeaux blend. Good power and length. Easily approachable as soon as you open it.

Born in the USA (The Great Hall, One Great George Street, Westminster): Sour blackcurrant over red plum. Touches of Ribena and red currant a little cedar. Ooh, bitter tannins on the palate, married to oddly sweet fruit. Nah.
