Fairly big Napa Cabernet as one would expect. Enough tannins and acidity to keep it going a while longer. Black and red fruit but not jammy. Smooth tannins. Not sure how much this will improve, but keeping my last until 2024 most likely.

Decanted for three hours but a fourth would have been better as initially the wine was mostly texture without complexity. It is both structure and depth which made this bottle so successful: the acidic bite followed by echoing fruit at the finish. Plush across the palate with tea-tinged dark berry fruit, I found the wine quite pleasurable several hours in. The wife? Not so much.

Rich and full. Drinking well now. Wonderfully smooth, with a touch of salinity. Cassis, blackberry, vanilla. A touch too sweet and syrupy, but great juice.

Two hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Boysenberry, black currant, ciabatta bread, and toffee on the fruit forward nose. Dry, supple palate, with good acidity. Dark fruit, tea, and dark chocolate flow through. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.

Deep ruby red. Quite fruity on the nose with black and blue fruits, followed up by lush feminine nuances and toasted nuts. Medium tannins (6/10) with a full body. Well rounded on the palate with blueberries, baking spices and cigar box. Long finish. Drink till 2026.

Three hour decant. Deep dark purplish magenta color. Jasmin, graham cracker, plum and burnt popcorn on the luscious nose. Very smooth, plush palate, with silty acidity. Firm, full tannins on the medium long finish. Jones flagship is a winner.

Nice wine, lacks the bones of a heavyweight Napa but the fruit is there and it’s drinking well out of the bottle... just a little bit thin on the palate. I don’t expect this to improve much with age, I bet this becomes a bit flabby in a few more years.

Three hour decant. Deep dark magenta color, with a hint of pink rim fade. Milk chocolate covered cherries, caramel, oatmeal and red apple on the voluptuous nose. Dry, supple, mouth filling palate, with good acidity. Full tannins on the almost medium long finish. This is a wonderful wine, but lacks a bit of structure and balance, which would add three more points.

Beautiful TRB wine. Four hour decant. Deep dark, nearly opaque, magenta color. Boysenberry jam, cherry blossom and black coffee on the rich, decadent nose. Smooth, satiny palate. Soft, round tannins on the long finish.
Very integrated wine at a relatively young age. Drinks a few years older than it is (in a good way). Would be 98 pts with more tannic structure.

Fruit bombs with minimal tannins like this don’t age very well. Drink now.

Decanted. Blackberry and raspberry sauce notes. This is big but has a good structure. The long finish is the highlight.

Decanted 1/2 hr. Drank over 3 hrs. Opened up nicely after the first glass. Medium body. Consistent tastes of darker fruits. Nice mouthfeel.

This was a gooey mess on Day 1. Fruit bomb. Better on Day 2. Hold and hope.
