Filling in w/the Friday Brown Bag Group (Ron's): Double blind. Bright citrusy note to start followed by a subtle grassy quality. Higher acidity; a bit lean. Hint of spice in the finish, again, higher acidity is notable. Guessed Italian.

Chablis and Oysters (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): lemons over peaches, slight butter and toast, a little mineral, wet stone as well. Juicy, fruity and spicy. Long finish and a little front of mouth grip. Pretty good.

Day 1: pop and pour, served around 52 degrees. Lean, stone fruit and citrus followed abruptly by minerality and acidity. Saved most for day 2. Day 2: whole different wine. Rounded out nicely. Fleshy apricot, pineapple, honeysuckle, light citrus followed by a nice hit of acidity and minerality taking me to the finish. Loved it at that price, and an easy rebuy. This will probably benefit from time.

Very pale and clear color, definite flintiness on the nose along with some citrus, medium body, good acidity, a hint of lemon on the palate and finish

Crisp with a malolactic backbone. Not overly oaky.
