Really enjoyed this without much time to think about notes over dinner. Would not have guessed no dosage, the fruit was ripe, nose had great intensity, mousse was just right. A really lovely bottle and one I will seek out again.

R16, Dg 2018. No dosage. Brass color. Vinous with wild strawberry - could be mistaken for rose on the palate. Mild oxidative note. Medium bubbles. Well integrated. Excellent overall.

Another bottle of the November 2018 disgorgement. 100% Pinot Noir with no dosage and this is farmed biodynamic, with credit to Bertrand for being one of the very earliest pioneers in Champagne to take clean farming to heart. I'll always remember fondly my visit to see him in 2019 and his deep passion for how he views taking care of his land and the farming onto it. To the bottle at hand, opened this about an hour ago, and it rings very true to the bottle I had a year ago in May 2020 (same disgorgement, too). Aromatically, very cool with a dried herb and mineral note mixing together. Then, cranberry, dried lime, ginger and black cherry forming the fruit core. And I swear there is a cinnamon toast note in this bottle, which flashes in my senses for a moment and then it's gone! Finishes with a dollop of mineral that freshens the wine. I paid $50 US for these and I just wish I would have bought a few more at that time. It's a wonderful bottle of Champagne.

the note is not completely considering the potential with the ageing. there is a lot inside this champagne, very intense ripe fruits, great freshness and persistency but today all this richness is not yet fully integrated, I will buy another bottle and keep it a the least 5 years in my cellar. Looking forward to get an oxidated nose, it would be fantastic!

A private dinner (Restaurant Choux, Amsterdam, NL): Organic viticulture, 100% Pinot Noir, no dosage, disgorged 20 November 2018. Quite a full, light golden colour; white almonds, spices, red apples and berries, candied fruit, crisp acidity, intense and rich but linear and precise, very good persistence. Lovely.

First of two. Disgorged November 2018, 100% PN, no dosage, farmed bio. Opened yesterday, stoppered the bottle overnight and working my through the bottle again today. Love this stuff. Tangy plum, cranberry, crisp apple, mint and ginger, with lots of intensity. Finishes with a bit of creaminess and a distinct saline, wet stone note. This is excellent, and there should be no concern about this being young or zero dosed, or whatever you might think....Bertrand continues to craft cool stuff, farmed clean as a whistle with no BS.

Stunning showing. Drank over a 3 hour window. Began ripe and forward with much classic pinot characteristic. It gained tension and minerality and focus as it breathed. Loved.

Clean but still fruity an voluminous grower champagne.
In my view on of the best producers in Aube and this fine example of Fidele confirms that

Lots of red fruits --- raspberry and strawberry...very good, but not as crisp as I would prefer.
