4th Saturday Brown Bagger (EBCC): Served double blind to the group. Grass and citrus notes with softened acidity. Would have guessed this was a good bit younger.

Really nice wine. Dry, crisp, and zesty notes of melon, lime, lemongrass, citrus blossom, and a hint of guava. The palate is driven by lively acidity, stony minerality, and a crunchy texture. White pepper-like spiciness lingers on the citrus pith finish. Lovely.

On both nose AND palate:minerals and citrus.....citrus and minerals ....minerals and etc.etc . A textbook basic Sauvignon Blanc....but little range and complexity ....a decent wine....but NOT for $59.00 a bottle in Vancouver .....you can buy far better White Bordeaux for that kind of money. Disappointing , as this winery produces excellent Cabernet Sauvignon.

N: Slightly closed; Notes of grass with tropical frt, rest tough to parse; Intensity lurking?
P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, almost swtish frt met by a tangy acidity which drives through into the LONG, tangy/swt finish with the init frt of the entry resurfacing. Still coming together? May need through '18, but with DEFINITE potential. Right now my VG, but could EASILY make EXC. 88 pts WS. 97% Sauvignon Blanc, 3% Semillon Grapefruit and peach aromas with lemon, lime and melon on the palate. This wine has a long finish with some mineral and pretty well balanced acid.

N: Pineapples, lemons, toast with notes of grassiness? Intensity lurking
P: MF body; RNDISH entry with NICE frt met by firming, BALANCING acidity which SLOWLY, fairly seamlessly morphs into the LONG, exquisitely balanced, very, VERY slightly honied finish. An IMPRESSIVE wine for now & likely through '21. BRAVO! :) [Other than 3 which are ~ $2 less, this vendor's $26.95 is basically @ the apex of a GARGANTUAN wine-searcher field.]

Flowery notes - would work well with food or by itself. We had it with sushi tonight and it paired very well. Not heavy in the front or back. Solid wine for the price point.

Bought as a tryer, will not buy any more... not much there. OK, a faint SB flavor and mild lime citrus, but pretty innocuous. We much preferred the 2015 Walter Hansel bought at the same time.

P: MF body; RNDISH entry with almost swtish frt met by a TANGY, slightly bitterish acidity which somewhat mitigates by the LONG, ult very slightly honied, slightly tangy finish. 6 mos or so SHOULD mitigate the brief mid palate bitterness. Drink through '19. [Other than 3 which are ~ $2 less, this vendor's $26.95 is basically @ the apex of a GARGANTUAN wine-searcher field.]

Light color. Grapefruit, with grassy undertones. Crisp acidity. Well done.

I need to remember this wine when I gripe that I don’t like white wine.

Much nicer than expected! Crisp, floral flavors, minimal "cat pee"

Nothing off putting about this wine, but nothing memorable. It tasted like Pinot Grigio.

Tastes kinda like Sauvignon Blanc...
...like every other afterthought SB that the Napa Valley seems to be spitting out lately. Pairs great with anything you don't care about...
