Lots of red fruit on the nose--strawberry and watermelon primarily, but also some raspberry and cherry. It's like a berry fruit salad. Mostly strawberry flavor on the palate, with some citrus aspects from acid. Short finish.
Note: I found the body and flavor of this wine much improved if served a few degrees Celsius above fridge temp.

Sat, 07/29/17, $2 Tasting & 1 Shared Bottle (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 70% Syrah & 30% Grenache grown in an accumulation of rounded pebbles; "Made by draining off the vat. Its color is obtained through a short maceration between 4 & 12 hrs. Fermentation takes place in s/sl tanks with the temperature controlled at 64°F." 13% ABV
N: Slightly closed; Flowers atop minerals with grapes underneath?
P: ed body; Rndish entry with almost swtish frt which slowly, fairly seamlessly transitions into a LONG finish with a bitter/swt/tart "trialectic". VERY nicely made, & *excellent* QPR for drinking NOW & into, if not through, '19. 89 pts & '"Best Buy" WE @ $11. [The '16 no longer avail @ this vendor's tasted $9.99, as of early Feb '19, wine-searcher still shows 1 U.S. source @ $13.]

Light-bodied rosé. Acidity gives this a fresh pleasant taste. There is some fruitiness under everything. Also there seems to be some effervescence. A good wine for all sorts of food.

P: Med body; Almost swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) nicely balanced by TANGY acidity, this extending through the LONG, VERY slightly bitter finish -- which encourages either food or another sip. VERY nicely made for drinking now & likely through '18, poss a tad longer. [This vendor's $9.95 is, as usual, HIGHLY competitive!]

Pale salmon color. Majority syrah. Nice nose of citrus, stones, watermelon. Bright & lively on the palate, easy to drink. Just fine in its price range.

Pretty medium pink. Watermelon, strawberry and rose petal nose. Nice firm structure supports a brisk freshness that is pleasant.

Decent, but not much more than that. Then again, it was only $10.

Bold and lively. Grapefruit and minerals, clean, with piercing acids, a rounded mouthfeel, and solid finish.
