Dark red, but bright. Nose not as expressive as the body, full of red fruits. It's elegant and redy to enjoy now already, due to the majority of Merlot in the blend It can age as well..horizon 2036 !

Very fruit forward bouquet of cassis and raspberries at such a young age without being overdone. The palate is soft delicates and filled with red raspberries. This wine still has time to evolve but it’s already drinking quite well. Finish is medium long. Superb!

Opened and tasted. Wine smelled and tasted quite tight. Let breath in bottle for around three hours. Wine color is rust on the edges and a deep red violet center. Nose of rust, iron, dust, leather, raspberry. Taste was smooth but high tannin that mellowed just a bit after the air. Very long finish. Also noticed the wine had LOTS of sediment, which I found a bit strange. Maybe this is infiltered. Have 3 more bottles and won't touch for at least 5-7 years and I imagine these will last a good decade or two. Hoping to bring the rating to a solid 92 next time around.

Beautiful inky purple color. Big bouquet dominated by dark fruit - black cherry, boysenberry, blackberry, cassis, with a touch of butterscotch, walnuts and pepper at the end. Lovely wine. Can drink this one now, but will probably get better over time.

Very solid, structured, focused, balanced, linear with good length...missing three dimensions and more flavor complexity...dark cherry, dark berry, plum, black currant
Still young

Nice dark color with a vibrant rim. Expressive nose with red and black fruits that mingle with truffles. With a fine mouth feel, concentrated yet polished. A lot of structure with tannins that subside after about hour and continue to open on hour two. A sexy wine that is very Bordeaux in character yet little modern and exciting. Well crafted juice, this wine will cruise in the cellar. If consuming anytime soon, decant for 1-2 hours or better yet cellar for another 3-5 years. This will develop age well over the next 15-20+ years. 94+

A slight step behind the 2015 vintage. This showed notes of fresh dark berries, dark plums, cassis, cedar and bay leaves. The palate was quite rich and restrained with dark spicy fruit, silky tannins, crushed rocks and savory herbs brushed the undertone, yet the mid-palate fell a little short which stopped this from scoring higher. The finish was medium, savory with a spicy kick. An enjoyable St Emilion and the quality is certainly there, you can sense the improvements, yet I still feel I can find better value at this price point.

The debut vintage for the new label here, the updated, feminine design fits the approach of the wine. Licorice, black cherry, flowers and sweet cherries are all over the place. The wine is refined, pure and fresh, allowing its sweet, ripe, fresh, pure, red fruit essence to show with ease, from start to finish. This should age quite nicely.

Floral, elegant, refined and with complete focus on its sweet, ripe, fresh, pure, red fruit essence, the wine is silky, polished and complex. The finish offers luscious textures and the essence of flowers, and pure, cherry and plum sensations that feel as good as they taste. This should age quite nicely.

The nose, with its floral, licorice and sweet, deep red fruit qualities, gets everything off to a good start. Medium/full bodied, elegant, silky and fresh, there is a purity to the fruit that marks the wine.

With a floral nose that is complicated by incense, black raspberry and vanilla, this wine shows a nice, deep color. On the palate, the wine bursts with fertile, sweet, luscious, dark red fruits, ripe, opulent tannins and a fruit filled, spicy finish. The wine was made from a blend of 80% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, representing the highest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend in the history of the estate. The wine reached 14% alcohol with a pH of 3.7

48 heures plus tard ce vin révèle sa véritable personnalité, sa subtilité et sa complexité. Je révise ma note de 89 à 93. Le carafage est impératif !

This is a bit too edgy overall. The gums are not assaulted as such but the tannins do dry a bit. 88-90.
