Popped and poured. A little weak and milquetoast for my taste. Fully mature, but translucent red color and viscosity suggest youth. Yet nose and mouth are mostly tertiary: leather, soil, and milk chocolate. It is either fading or too young. I don’t have enough experience with this particular wine. And I’m not alone. CT drink dates appear to suggest this is on the downside of life, while the winery’s website claims it is in early maturity. I wonder who’s right? 5-11-14-7: 87/100.

I wanted to hold onto this longer but I saw it around 50% Grenache and counoise which I’d say are varietals meant to be drunk young. The approximate other 50% are more age worthy. What to do? Life is too short so I pulled the trigger. Gave it a 3 hour decant. Upon opening it tasted of fresh strawberries. Coming back at hour 3 those flavors had faded. It became more gamey and rich. CdP type funk on it. Day 2 it was okay. I guess this can hold longer if you want but I’d get into it within the next 3 years.

Wonderful nose - with sweet ripe fruit and some meatiness / gaminess that paired nicely with a lightly seasoned steak off the grill.
On the palate, this has evolved into a nice balance of fruit and tannins.
Finish lingers but turns a bit towards the sour side.
In a nice place now. If you like ripe fruit, dive in now before the secondary flavor profile becomes dominant. But this has the goods to go several more years.

Bright purple red. Raspberry fruit with solid base of earth. Tannins are very mild. Drinking very well right now and maybe a couple years to develop but it would also be a shame to lose the fruit it has now.

Fully integrated tannins, soft structure and ready to drink now. Very balanced dark fruit and soft, smokey complexity. Could go on for years but its really nice having the mature but lively fruit in balance.

Brilliant and bright color, slight fragrant nose, good palate feel, delightful finish. More btl time? Hold 3-5+ years. A very good everyday wine with food.

Wow. All I can say. One of the better (which doesn't say much as so many of their wines are sooooo good) TCV wines I have had. Not in the category of the 2006 Panoplie, but darn good.

Seamless Rhone blend:39% Mourvedre, 29% Grenache, 18% Syrah, 11% Counoise, 3% Tannat. Dark fruit forward--plum, blackberry--but plenty of acid to keep it taut. Delicious.

Give this a one-hour decant. Closed and herbal out of the bottle. But over time she reveals boysenberry cobbler, plum and lavender. Medium to full bodied and best with a substantial, meaty meal. Probably popped the cork too soon. Let ‘em rest if you’ve still got some. Drink 2025 to 2030. Worth Seeking Out.

Slightly darker than the sensual 2014 En Gobelet and less plush but with a stronger, more athletic profile. This is an exciting and complex En Gobelet of mixed black and red fruits: tart cherry, violet pastille, dark chocolate wrapped around sweet cherry, iron and cracked black pepper, and a youthful Cotes de Nuits animality. The tannins have an exciting Cote Rotie focus and assertiveness. Overall, concentrated and crystalline in profile, still tight but beginning to open. Like a baby La Turque.
Impossible to hold off opening another bottle over the next year. Like other 2015 TCV reds, stellar for the cellar.

A TC weekend, complex flavors, good balance, lively acid, the grape blend just adds to the flavors, drank with fish stew with mussels, clams and mahi mahi in a tomato based broth, would drink again.

(Tasted at the winery) Still tight, tight, tight. Very taut with a tannic finish. Could remain a bruiser in a decade or soften into something very lovely, which these usually do. Time in the glass teases out some lovely lavender and herbal aromas, suggesting good things to come. Drink 2021-2030+. ( = Worth Seeking Out; Could Be Outstanding in Five or So Years)

Decent enough wine, though not incredibly exciting. Quite pretty ruby-purple. Has some nice Rhone/garrigue character in the nose. Quite light in the mouth, with little in the way of tannin or dark fruit. Certainly well-made, but not Tablas’ best wine. 4-12-14-8: 88/100.

Very nice nose, with cranberry and Smokey berry flavors. Went great with slow smoked then seared Flannery prime aged 16 oz Jorge steak.

Decanted 45 min. Drank over 2 days. Day 2 was a bit more tasty than day 1. Consistent tastes of red & darker fruits.

Not over done. No a fruit Bomb over Oaked and reasonable alcohol. You would have thought it was from Southern Rhône.
