Tasted blind. Pale lemon in appearance. Youthful nose with med (+) intensity of green apples, grapefruit, melon, passion fruit, grass. Dry with high acidity. Med alcohol and med body with med (+) flavour. Palate has apples, lemon, melon, gooseberries. Finishes med. Conclusion is a good wine with good balance and acceptable complexity. Drink now with potential for age.

Offered by the glass at Pavé d'Auge restaurant, it went beautifully with a asparagus based dish helped by not being bone dry yet sharply focussed accompanied by lively citrus tinged fruit, fine minerals, fresh acidity and a certain underlying roundness. Chapeau to the sommelier for his astute choice. Very good.

Definitely lots of grapefruit and lots of minerality. For whatever reason was an awful pairing with pasta and clams (bitterness showed up) but worked better on its own. Not really in my wheelhouse though.

Light yellow in the glass, with a crisp, briny note on the nose.
Taut, with tart fruit. Focused, and seemingly a normale that has the capability for further aging. Pretty good.

My first look at the new vintage. Light yellow in the glass, with an appealing sea breeze scent on the nose.
Taut, with good acidity, on the palate. I don't always buy the "normale", but this seems pretty decent this vintage.
