Decanted 2 hours. Upon decanting heavy leather color & aroma of big tar. Intimal pour flavor of figs, lead pencil w/strong legs. Full finish. Went well with Sausage Risotto.

I bought this bottle 5 years ago and it's still not ready to drink. Attractive nose of leather, horse, cassis, blackberry, cedar, hay. However the palate is tart, astringent and bitter. Glad I only paid $14 (plus 5 years of cellaring) but other wines are more generous. Avoid.
Day 2 and this has improved markedly with softer tannins and an inky minerality. I hope this offers optimism to others as this was my last bottle.

Nose: Juicy, fresh, sherbet-y dark fruit with leather behind Palate Fruity, but balanced palate, with both black and rasp berries. Lovely drying tannins and medium length. Colour Plum with redness towards edges Overall Fruity but still dry and balanced Bordeaux. Decent and serve with red meat

A voluptuous bouquet of summer fruits and berries with just a hint of Brett – so good that I didn’t want to taste it for fear of being disappointed. Of course, that didn’t last long. I wasn’t disappointed. Soft tannins. Decent finish. Still good the next day. Saving my remaining stash for at least a year to see how it ages.

Served by the glass. A fine old-fashioned wine. Simple yet aromatic, direct but leaving an appetizing aftertaste in the throat. Delicious with a sirloin tapa.
Servido por copas. Un vino fino a la antigua usanza. Simple aunque aromático, directo pero dejando un apetecible poso en la garganta. Delicioso con una tapa de solomillo.

(opened 3 days ago) - nose: oak, cherry, spice; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, plum fruit taste with a touch of rhubarb, medium-length finish with tobacco notes and moderate gum-sucking tannins; overall: Old World personality, leathery and masculine, reasonable QPR ($14/bottle via Garagiste), drinking well now, has plenty of stuffing and likely will be even better in 2-3 years.

Smells of black cherry and fruit character. Light and fresh and easy does it.

This has improved significantly since my last bottle. Elegant perfumed nose. Ripe cherry. Good structure.

Dark & red fruit, earthy nose. Medium tannins, cherries, leather, earth. Light to medium body. A bit thin but reasonably balanced.
