A rich yet fairly delineated nose of red currant and cherry fruit mixed with both oak and natural spice inflections. Good sweetness on the midpalate, rose and violet floral notes come through with time. Sappy, fruity, ripe finish. Lots of ripe fruit with good dimension and focus at this level. 91-92 today.

During a Paulee walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. Also here, complex nose of dark fruit, some smoke, intriguing complexity. Dense palate but not over the top. Impressive for a village.
