Dark purple, dark core. Doesn’t look particularly aged or tired. Uplifted candied fruit. A touch of alcohol. Soft and easy to approach. Plenty of flavor. Has plum and dates flavor. Not mind blowing but it didn’t disappoint.

Sammamish Port Club - October 2019 (Seattle, Washington): Dark purple in color. Bramble-berry on the nose. Blueberry and boysenberry on the palate. Great mid-palate with some “sparkly tannins” on the finish. Really nice wine.

Rather elegant... Simple aromas and flavors of ripe/dried dark current... with subtle spice and savory qualities... not overwhelming, heavy or thick on the palate, though with enough weight and concentration to remind you this is port, not table wine... with a lingering, elegant finish of ripe, COOL, blue and dried black fruit... alcohol is in balance... I have no idea where this will go, though seems to be enjoyable now for it's forward fruit...

This didnt taste too different from cheap port to me. I am no port expert, but this wasnt thought provoking or complex, just sweet and lush. Maybe the coming days will show better. Day 2: much better and more interesting. Maybe time will add a lot to this.

A touch hot, but otherwise pretty classic and delicious.

Sammamish Port Club - October 2019 (Seattle, Washington): 375ml half bottle. Great dark red fruit on the nose. A little buttery note on the palate that is a touch off-putting. Nice tannins and balance on the long finish.

A little hot at first, but it came around as a nice warm baking spice and plum Port.

A bit of a crowd-pleaser. Soft and light on its feet. Not the last word in complexity but very pleasant and an amazing value for the price.

Broad, weighty rich. Maybe missing the n'th degree of complexity, but still quite lovely and complete.

Very enjoyable, quite light but that's probably best at this age. Amazing value for a vintage port. More please!

A gem for the price if you can find it.

Very smooth. A bit brawny perhaps, but quite subtle and elegant and definitley the best porto I've had at anywhere near this pricepoint.

A bit chalky but some good depth and concentration. Nothing to apologize for at this price point - possibly the best port I've had at this price.

Slightly sharp and striking, but a lot of depth and grace. Will show better with some more age.

Bought a half-case before it ran out, returned the last 5. Fine but very one-dimensional.
