Wow, beautiful. Upon opening toasted popcorn +2 octaves on the palette which evolves into a bright, ethereal, feminine hash/cannabis. Yellow-green color in the glass. Great acidity and mouthfeel, not too heavy or thin. Nose is same as palette. Never bored with any Aubert bottle. Another amazing bottle. And it’s not a vineyard specific bottle. *3rd night excellent Chardonnay.

This started to open up after 45 min in the glass but more time the merrier and even a good 90 min decant would be beneficial. This is a big wine that is starting to balance out nicely. Overall a pleasant, crowd pleaser no doubt. Still 2-3 years out from its prime and should easily drink well for 6-8 years. Revisit 2023.

PnP. Light greenish gold. Tropical fruit nose with a touch of marzipan. Medium weight a touch low in acidity on the finish. Not as overwhelming as the Aubert single vineyard Chards but still not shy. Nice but not more than that.

Wow...for a Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, this was outstanding. Rich, creamy notes of tropical fruits, a touch of butter, pineapple and citrus on the finish. Ridiculously complex and smooth on the palate. Yet another Aubert gem.

A little too much of the Aubert syrup style. Has a nice citrus and acid foundation that shows better on day two. An interesting spice and vanilla finish. Less of the heavy nonsense of other Aubert wines. An acceptable, but not outstanding or elegant wine. Better choices for this CA type of chard.

Similar to my bottle a couple of years ago -- lemon and tropical fruit, butter, cream but with decent structure to give it some life on the finish. Big bodied for a chardonnay. Oak is integrated. Liked it as it went from cold to lightly chilled. Don't think there's much evolution over the 2 years. Drink up.

Opened and given some time. Bright, fresh, tart, balanced, with lots of tropical fruit and crisp finish, very good by itself and with a turkey casserole,

I wanted to try one of my younger Aubert's without robbing the cradle. When cold it was golden delicious apple, oak, with some mango and pineapple . As it warms the layers of tropical fruit come out, the nose intensifies and the depth transforms it into really good creamy well blended Chardonnay .

93 is still my rating. No real difference with my last rating vs now. These non single vineyard Aubert are really quite approachable almost immediately. Nice mid-afternoon wine to drink during the COR-AN-TEEN!!!!!!

Pop and pour. In the glass, pale slightly cloudy yellow. On the nose, primarily honeysuckle and peach, with a hint of smoke. On the palate, a beguiling mix of focus and body, with peach, lemon, and orange delivering ample fruit, with oak and a bit of slate on the back palate. This is really nice right now, and if you have multiple bottles, you should open one now - but I think even better days are ahead 3-5 years down the road.

I’m in love with the Aubert style of making Chardonnay. Big, rich and decadent. It’s pricy that’s a fact but, you can’t put a price tag on great wine. An exotic nose, on the pallet, stone fruit, Myers lemon with light tones of spice and mineralality. So good!

Nose of toasted oak, pears, apricot and lots of minerality. Rich flavor profile but not at all over the top, backed up up by great acid and wonderful balance. Creamy and fresh, this isn't showing the complexity or layers of the SVD's, but it is a terrific entry level Chard. 92-93

Excellent for the price (especially off the mailing list). Intensity and finesse in perfect balance. Generous amounts of tropical fruits and toasted oak dominate with minerals and salinity add a cooling element. Still needs a couple more to integrate. Substantially better than any other producers non sv bottling.

Secondary to curiosity, this one was opened today when I saw the 2013 Lauren was out to play. Similarities, yet quite a few differences. First: this is undoubtedly Aubert. The robust style and backbone is there. Honeysuckle, malon, and mango nose, almost tropical. The entry is mango and melon. Rounded edges. Fair amount of acidity throughout. Really impressed having just received these. Finishes with some stiff oak, so I still believe improvement is expected here. But, compared to the 13 Lauren, this one seemed to have more fruit, yet lacked complexity. Not too sure that time will help this wine gain that or not. Time will tell!

Liked this very much especially for an appellation bottling. Trademark Aubert richness and body but yet was still light on its feet. A little buttery but fruit still shined through. A touch of sweetness was a little distracting but not over the top. Bright finish.

Intense butter, toast, and lifted apple blossom with a hint of gasoline on the nose. High tension in the mouth. Really nice wine, but not for me.

Beautiful wine in a very Burgundian style with hints of petrol and vegetable, but then an undercurrent of light oaky butter. Great stuff!

Crazy bursts of flavor! Is this wine? Way too overdone. Flavors are so strong it tastes like food, not wine.

a wine that has no elegance. Big overblown CA chard. Shamelessly overdone with excessive alcohol. Some interesting ripe fruit.
