Nose lime, lemon, stone, and flowers - very nice. Excellent balance. Firm acid, nice citrus and mineral. Drinking well now but with lots of room for further development. Really nice QPR.

Tasty. As it opens there is that reductive somewhat matchstick like nose that I love with crisp acidity and more tart pineapple than apple to me. A very enjoyable chablis

A: Medium yellow N: Medium (+) intensity. Meyer lemon, yellow apple, lime, chamomile, salt, spice P: Dry, medium acid, medium alcohol, medium (+) body, intensity and long finish. C: BLIC? The acid is too low for my liking and so out of balance. Its a very good quality wine but pales in comparison to some of this producers other grand and premier crus that I have had in the past. $65 a bottle is terrible QPR. I think you have to drink now because this weirdly lower acid is not going to help preserve this wine.

Rich nose, with good fruit and plenty of smokey mineral. On the palate this is very dry, with fine balance, more balanced and well structured than rich, but also very long. Ripe apples, hints of fresh grass, good minerality. Perhaps a bit Young. Wait a few years and it will pick up more mature notes tat will add to the experience.

Wine Connection 20th Anniversary Tasting Fair (Wine Connection @ Capital Square): pale gold, pronounced nose of summer fruits, apricots, acidic, fair intensity, apricot, mango, pineapple, brioche, cloves, cedar, vanilla; somehow felt like mainstream Southern Burgundy white, so while nice, didn’t feel that it quite described the Chablis terroir... quite a pity...

DIscover VINO - Fine wines corner; 5/11/2018-5/12/2018 (Sofia): Surprised to see it so accessible now, with that amazing purity of fruit, that great transparency while there is so much ongoing like flowers and fruits met by chieseled acidity and minerality. Balanced with the easiness of an elegant wine, while maintaining structure.

Trip to Chablis; 4/26/2018-4/28/2018: Le Bistrot des Grands Crus, Chablis. Requires time to open. A mix of mineral and signs of oak, slightly eucalyptus and white flowers, on the palate very harmonious, good acidity, big concentration, nice bitter note, medium to long finish. Good aging potential, 91-93.

Lemon peel aroma. More fat on the palate. Chablisienne is the only producer of Chateau Grenouilles. It’s owned by the company, not by one of the single owners. There is a winery at the bottom of the hill in Grenouilles, where they make their Chateau Grenouilles and the other grand cru wines.

Annual K&L Grand Burgundy Tasting (K&L Wines, San Francisco): Medium yellow. Classic citrus and salt tones. Good volume, texture, and sweet/sour contrast. Maybe just a whiff of botrytis, but it does not detract. Properly austere finish. Excellent Grand Cru from this difficult year.

Good, but not as good as i would expect from a 50$: lush fruit, good minerality but also some unwanted wood taste. It got more refined on day 2

This is really tasty and what you want from a chablis. Lemon curd, reductive notes and such lovely acidity. Terrific QPR.

Monthly tasting club LTC: Chablis and Castelli di Jesi (@ LWH by PvE): In the bouquet ripe yellow fruits, flowers and a touch of sweetness. On the palate ripe yellow fruits, mild acidity and quit expressive. More nuances and riper than the previous wines in this tasting.
