Maybe even 92 points. Wow, I was really impressed with this wine. Especially for the value, the CdR level, and for a mass produced big exporter. Lots of character, a fair amount of acid for a Rhone white. Complex for a light dry white.
This bottle had been accessed by Coravin months earlier, which sometimes changes a wine (O2 leak) -- usually for the worse. Not sure if that had a factor why I liked this better than the professional reviewers and most CTers. But I will be buying more of this.

This was a fine bottle and a great value wine from Garagiste (FYI, I am not employed by them). We drank this with spicy grilled shrimp and found it an excellent match. Any rough edges have long since disappeared which leaves a well integrated wine just waiting for consumption. Nice light straw color. Nose and flavors of white fruits and a bit of citrus that is typical of a white Rhone.

Really wanted to like this more with all of the hype from critics and Mr. JR. I mean for $10 one really shouldn't complain, but it just came off a bit heavy and disjointed. It did do much better at a warmer temperature. Have another bottle, so we'll see…

Deep golden color, floral nose, roussane, Marsanne, viognier blend. As advertised, like a CDR White should be. Started a bit unctious, perhaps, but, after warming up a bit (don't over chill) really shined. Peach, a bit of oil, nice finish--chard like, just as the book said..

The fruit is starting to fade, but still some life left in this one. Faint floral notes with zesty citrus oil. Pleasing mouthfeel - a very enjoyable wine for $10 from Garagiste. Paired well with broiled swordfish.

Lemon rind, oranges, orange blossom, general floral notes on the nose. The palate is dense with a sort of distilled lemon quality. It’s not bad, but I find there to be sort of an acerbic note as it transitions to the finish.

Pretty nice - Viognier is not particularly pronounced, a little floral on the nose, medium bodied with peach and apple fruit, pretty dry with a nice ripe finish. Lacking a little interest, but tasty enough.

Sunlight gold in the glass. Nose of honeysuckle, honey, orange blossom, lychee fruit, peach pit. All that on the palate as well with just enough roundness to have a mouthfeel of heft and yet just enough crispness to cleanse the palate. Nice now, but can hold well in the cellar for a bit. 13.5% alc. With brie, mole, aged gouda, ham relish. Recommended.

Jujube E. Guigal Wine Dinner: 1st Course: Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2016, served with salad of peaches with ham and mint. 60% Viognier. Grassy nose mixed with yellow apples, hints of spicy pear and a lemongrass herbal note. Green apple palate, slightly sour with some honeyed notes and a waxy nuttiness. Not a lot of acidity; slight oxidation maybe? Paired well with the salad, complements the sweet and smoky flavors. Wine B+ / Pairing A-.

A blend of 60% Viognier, 15% Roussanne, 10% Marsanne, 8 % Clairette, 5% Bourboulenc and 2% Grenache blanc, fermented and aged in stainless steel, 35 hl/ha, 700,000 bottles produced. Aromatically, this wine is clearly dominated by the Viognier in the blend (apricot, white peach, flowers, acacia), but the other grapes provide a lovely freshness and minerally energy, and I really like the definition and purity of the flavours, even if they are not as intense and rich as in the 2015.

NR. 60% Viognier, 15% Roussanne, 10% Marsanne, 8 % Clairette, 5% Bourboulenc, 2% Grenache blanc. Cutting back 5% on the Viognier compared to the 2015 vintage and that is noticeable. Viognier still very present in the nose, but less on the palate. More acidity there. I prefer the 2015 vintage.

Blend of 6 varietals, mostly Viognier. As good as the previous vintages. Medium bodied. Nice, fragrant, fresh, sweet/bitter, floral, with good acidity. Again a very nice QPR wine, but the flavor diminishes quite fast.
