Not terrible. Lots of cola if you like that. I'm not sure I've ever tasted cola in a wine before. No personality at all. Drinkable, but just. Letting it breathe for an hour didn't help. Disappointing. Friend of mine likes it.

Notes consistent with previous tastings. Really enjoyable wine that is still showing rather fresh characteristics. As more and more producers jack up their prices post-pandemic, this is starting to look like a bargain wine at its purchase price of sub $60. A solid performer that is holding strong.

dark garnet colour in the glass with a nose dominated by red fruits and only a hint of forest floor. medium body in the mouth with some heat in the attack and moderate acidity balancing the berries and cola flavours, accented by light touches of allspice and pepper. medium finish.
overall without much complexity and a style tad too fruity for my tastes for this region, but enjoyable all the same.

Really liked this easy drinking Pinot. Notes of blueberry, current and cola which was interesting. Balanced tannins and acidity with a longer finish than I expected.

Smooth like cheap silk. Fruit forward, little towards back. Over all a very good wine at year five. Certainly can enjoy for a couple more years. Súper light.

First taste was cherry cola. Similar to what you get at a Sonic Drive-In. Boring. Very clean and pristine. Not earthy at all. To me the quintessential California Pinot Noir. After 2 hours it did open up to deeper flavors. Now getting fresh raspberries. Not dark nor charred fruits...very fresh. It got deeper but then reemerged as more simple. So we poured into 3 different glasses. The classic Burgundy glass brought back the cherry cola in your face. The cabernet glass kept it more dark. Fascinating. Not bad nor good. We hoped it was food friendly but there was no chemistry. Salmon, white beans, mushrooms, and sorrel.

Solid wine. Lovely bouquet on the nose, with a rich, weighty mouthfeel that is full of lush berry, plum, and black currant. There’s some great acidity to this wine and it’s clearly mad of quality fruit. But what it delivers in power, it lacks in finesse and elegance. I enjoyed this wine for what it was, but at this price point need to think hard before buying more next time around.

Holding strong on my previous review. I can, perhaps, see why this doesn't grab those who are looking for a more classic Burgundian wine; this is definitely a big and fruit-forward California Pinot Noir. And there are other producers who show restraint and can produce a better Pinot with more character. Nevertheless, for $58 MSRP, this is pretty **** good.

Charleston Food & Wine Festival; 3/7/2019-3/10/2019 (Charleston, SC (various locations)): Take this note with a grain of salt. It was dinner at the end of a long day at Charleston Food & Wine festival. I think of these wines as being decent for their price point and where they are from and that continues to be true. Even from Anderson Valley this is a bit more of the heavier, fruit forward style of Pinot. It's not exactly my type of wine, but I think the word 'fine' covers it.

Underbrush, raspberry, red currant, hints of wood. Fruity upfront, but there is a bright acidity kicking in on the mid palate, leading to a slightly smoky finish. Red cherry and raspberry tart flavors are abundant, along with hints of dried herbs. High alcohol. This is a powerful pinot noir.

This was a wonderful expression of Pinot Noir. Nice fruit in the nose, light body, and was a wonderful balance of mineral base, fruit, sweet vanilla, medium minus on the alcohol and acid on the palette. Great little Pinot! Pair with a little cured meat for a mineral punch in the face or with nice aged cheddar to pump up the fruit!

Consistent, straight laced and predictable. Uninteresting or boring might be the best way to describe it. Still warrants a good score because it is a well made and good wine.

The nose consists of blueberries, strawberries, mint and vanilla. Complex layers of strawberries, mint, coffee and vanilla. A really nice and enjoyable wine.

Pop and pour. An interesting neon ruby color that turned out to be a nice mix between candied and elegant. Mulled spices, soil, bright yet extracted cherry dominate with acidic freshness on the mid palate/finish. Likely will further improve with 1-2 more years.

I am surprised by some of the earlier reviews, as I thought this wine was stellar. Aromas of dark fruit, forest floor and spice jump out of the glass. On the palate, it's layer after layer after layer ... with medium weight and a medium-long finish. Excellent Pinot Noir at this price point and one of the best sub-$75 wines I've had from California from this vintage.

Pleasant, if somewhat indistinct fruit-forward pinot. Has a bit of musk and almost herbal undergrowth character on the attack - but not in the mid-palate, which I found odd but adding to the interest level. Ripe, but a bit watery. Better with deep dish pizza.

Mid-garnet; distinct Pinot Noir nose; cherries, wood (barrel aged, 55% new French oak); mid-body; good balance of tannins, acids; long fruity finish. w/braised beef

Nose: soft cherry, subtle black pepper
Mod acidity, min tannins that both complement food (salmon) nicely

Crimson ruby color. Wet clay, pepper & tangy "pinot" fruit nose. Spice, unripe cherry, oak palate. Fairly tannic.
