Beginning to round into form. Looks older than it really is, with a light garnet core and clear meniscus. Aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry, mineral, spice and herbs with just a subtle earthy undertone. Light bodied, with flavors of cherry, earth, mineral and spice, with good underlying acidity. Medium finish. Balanced. excellent for this level.

Red fruit on the nose and palate with green stems that resolve with air. Linear, light and some tannins that still need to integrate. Have a few other bottles and will hold for now. Very enjoyable.

As expected quite linear at current state, but with great young fruit, quite open and playful. Good acidity makes a great spine. OK length for it's kind. There are better BR out there, but perhaps the BR from Lafarge was a bit unfair comparison as Lamarche came a bit short.

Medium ruby red colour. Medium nose with smoke, potting soil, forest floor, autumn leaves, raspberry and oak. Medium taste of raspberry, ripe red currant, potting soil, wet leaves, forest floor and oak. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium (-) tannins. Medium body. A very good and slightly unripe Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. Needed two hours of air to integrate. The 2015 is warmer and more mature. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with duck, mushrooms or pork.

Dégustation au Domaine Lamarche (millésime 2016): Un très bon vin d'entrée de gamme, très parfumé, fin et élégant, délicieux. Il annonçait bien le style des vins qui allaient suivre. 88-89 pts

Quite pure fruit on the nose mixed with a fairly strong note of aniseed, spices. Quite linear on the palate, nice tannic grip, fresh and well balanced. 87-89

I would have guessed a Pinot Noir from Oregon. A little more ripe and polished than i was expecting, but still enjoyable and expressive.

Quite disappointes bottle. I really enjoyed the 2015. Ok nose, some parfyme with precious wood. And that’s everything. Didn’t improve with air. 84/85
