Improving since the last time I drank one. Still austere and closed, but quite drinkable with the right food; salmon or cheese. Decanted and had the rest the next day with wild rice soup. No great improvement, but that leads me to cellar the remaining bottles for 2 more years. Should be a 90+pts wine by then. Bourgognes I have had do improve after 7 years.

As expected from this producer. A bit tight in the aromatics - but otherwise very solid and technical. I do not find this bottle "new world" in style or ripeness.
Consumed with homemade mac & cheese + asparagus.

Fresh, clean, juicy; blackberries, dark cherries, plum, blueberries, cranberries, pomegranate & strawberries. Red licorice/cola, light, dark spice, saddle-wood, just a touch if grilled meats, fresh tobacco leaf, fresh herbs, limestone minerals, dry top soil, some moist dark earth, bright, dark & red fresh florals, acidity like a river and elegantly polished for days.

From a ripe vintage. Aroma of spice and red fruits. Good fruit and acidity on palate, obvious oak influence. Open at opening of bottle. Great with food. Great value.

Drank with good friend and very good duck at TChow in Adelaide. Performed very well in a pop and pour from a half. Tastes like burgundy, good balance, and quality right where you’d expect for an appellation level red.

Drinks like a classic village Nuit St George in a great year, which it probably mostly is. Fragrant, generous red fruit, light tannins, medium acidity. The best 2015 generic Bourgogne I've sampled among the 2014 through 2016 vintages so far.

Of several generic Bourgognes tasted recently, this one shone the brightest. It has a bit more complexity than others and has a delicious strawberry element on the palate. A great house red. Drink now.

Totally enjoyable entry level red Burg from a great vintage. Nothing notable stands out but it has nice bright fruit and some earthy minerality and a good finish. Balanced but not quite elegant, if that makes sense to anyone else.

Deep ruby-brick color in the glass. Medium blue fruit, earth, and mushroom on the nose. More mushroom on entry to the palate, which is the predominate note with a hint of plum on the mid-palate and spice (clove?). Fine tannins coat the mouth with medium-plus acidity through the finish.

Impressive complexity and balance. A bit austere and astringent at this stage. Softened a bit over several days, which suggests that the wine has aging potential. May improve over the next 5 years.

2015 Bourgogne AC blind (Chicago, IL): Served single blind. I was quite insistent that we have some of the big negoce houses in our lineup, as I really wanted to see how they would hold up against some of our favourite domaines. This bottle held its own and then some. Perhaps a bit austere and not as generous as some of the wines with a more easygoing disposition, but this was delicious the way an everything bagel is: it's got a little bit of everything.

nose is clean with medium intense aromas of kirch, oak, light smoke, strawberry/wild strawberry, hint of liquorice, raspberry, developing

well balanced with medium, almost low+(medium-) alcohol (12.5%), medium complexity, quite well concentrated and the lenght is almost long and dominated by light red fruit.
