Pale lemon/gold. Primary citrus, grapefruit, lime, and grass herbaceous. High acidity, lime, minerality and grass on palate. Relatively simple and mainly fruit.

Bibendum Portfolio Tasting 2019: White florals, mint and lime. Palate has a herbal note but the yellow fruit remains at the fore. Good flow and very nice drinking now.

great sancerre. Lush herbs, grapefruit, mineral, palate is acid focused, slightly phenolic, lingering, savory and balanced. Shows structure and also restraint, I feel really good sancerre.

Aromas of quince, dry grass, anise, and sea air. Generous charge of crisp sweet fruit on the palate with a lingering acid finish. Cheerful and primary. 50 + 17 + 16 + 8 = 91.

Delicious. I don't always buy the "normale", but this one one vintage where I'm glad I did. Thirst-quenching, with a saline note that will make you want to reach for another glass.

Just a gorgeous wine. Rich fruit on the nose, honey, lemon zest. The palate shows the typical tart citrus of Sancerre, but the fruit is also rich with honeysuckle and herbs and transforms the wine. A precise note of salinity. Just a perfect balance of fruit with acidity that makes this a pleasure to drink, coating the palate and pairing beautifully with food. Finishes long and spicy. Delightful wine. Our "go-to" Sancerre.

Color is a very light yellow-green in the glass, with Granny Smith Apple and saline notes on the nose.
Dry, with good acidity, but not totally tied down even at this early juncture - I don't know anything about the '17 vintage, but this is already fairly accessible. I don't always buy the "normale",but this is pretty good this year.

Another look at this wine - brisk nose with saline notes.
Light-bodied, with good acidity and decent persistence - tart white fruits. Refreshing on the palate, albeit somewhat straightforward.
