Red cherries, earth and herbs on the nose. Mild tannins and a bit hot finnish at first, but after getting some air it did opened up and become much smoother. Rather short finnish.

thin and rosy in colour. Big fat smack of plum on the nose followed by straw bale, broccoli and a hint of windex(really, go smell some windex and you will know what I'm talking about-gotta be the lemon windex though). Definitely an old world type pinot with restrained fruit and lots of cola and ginger up front with strong asparagus and other vegetal aspects further back including some strong raw beetroot. Tannins overpower and it is the less desirable flavours that last the longest. Another example of the inattention by the california wine industry to lower priced wines. Save your money and spend $15 on a Bourgogne, or pony up another ten bucks for an infinitely better california Pinot. If this wine went for 6.99 I might recommend it but at 11 dollars it is simply outclassed by its imported colleagues

expressive nose of strawberries. light bodied and true to varietal form. Light red fruits in the mouth with tea on the midpalate. Reminds me very much of Castle Rock Monterey Pinot Noir from a recent vintage. I'm betting these grapes come from Monterey as well.

Disappointing, as I'd enjoyed this quite a bit more in the past. One dimensional cherry aspects, too much flab, not enough acid. Kind of a downer of a bottle.

For a mid priced Pinot, it was a pretty good wine. Neither of us are Pinot fans, and we got this to use in a recipe, but it was alright to drink as well.

Fresh cherry, herb and charry notes have some depth, with a drying, toasty finish. Was iffy at first - but tasted with some grilled lamb chops and it improved dramatically.

Very light ruby color - simple sour cherry, low acid, a bit flabby. No tannin to speak of either. Quite drinkable, but nothing special. Similar to the 2005/2006 Castle Rock Sonoma, which is only $8.

very light color (and overall). a bit of cherry and a tiny bit of spice, very light mouthfeel with a bit of oak on the finish. not my favorite but it's a nice break to have a subtle pinot that's not over the top.

This Pinot was fairly light in color...somewhere between a pale red and rose. Aromas of raspberry, bright cherry, and soil were accented by hints of watermelon and floral notes. Bright cherry and berry flavors on the palate. A light-bodied Pinot with mild tannins offered an enjoyable bottle for the price.

Agree with other notes. A very nice wine for the price, but nothing stands out. Drank with Korean style ribs and it paired well. Had some nice fruit and was smooth drinking.

Pleasant cherry and some spicy peppery notes. Very enjoyable with pork loin, though nothing exceptionally exciting. Medium finish. Very good QPR.

even for the price not a good value, the wine is thin and a bit acidic. Better with food.

Nice lighter style compared with many of the American PN at this time. Will buy again.

Very light in color. Raspberry & cherry prevail.
