Lovely gold color. I have a slight cold but found orange fruit, mineral, with medium acidity and nice long finish. I love their stand alone Picpoul Blanc. If you haven't had it give it a try.

Shimmery translucent gold. Candied ginger orange peel wet rocks and tangerines on the nose really soft and lovely entry. Honey comb over a gorgeously defined testure. Pure and super even long finish this is the top of the line white from tablas creek and a decent value at $35 from their mailing list.

Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of camphor, talc, nutmeg and waxy pears. Flavors of lemon, cherry, lime and minerals. Medium to bright acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold.

Hard to rate, as there were some slightly off aromas (possible cork taint?). Nevertheless, even if not showing at its best it was still quite drinkable.

Opened not decanted and served chilled. Yellow gold in color. Dark citrus tastes on the entry of ginger and lemon curd; medium body weight; ends with a semi sweet finish with notes of sourness that seemed rather thick and unctuous as though it had been reduced. Great with lunch (salad and portobello mushrooms with melted cheese and pan fried potatoes) on our patio on a hot day. Good.

From the past month, I didn't take notes, I just enjoyed the heck out of this, commensurate with expectations since I bought it on a tasting trip last summer, a bit compact and fussy at first but it settled into a balanced state of grace after a few hours and on day 2 under cork. Should improve over the next 5+ years. 91+

Beautiful nosecof stone fruit and mango. Flavors full of peach and mango with a bit of citrus. A beautiful wine made from the best of Rhine whites. Who has heard of Picardan, Picpoul Blanc and Grenache Blanc grapes. The Rousanne stands out as the best! A wonderful wine!!

Deep straw to light gold color. Fascinating nose that goes from peach into a crisp lemon and minerality with white flowers. Taste is complex and unfolds from the peach sorbet and banana/clove into lemon verbena and tropical fruits. It feels like you can taste the individual elements in this with the rounder roussane and then the bracing picpoul. Temperature seems to play an outsized role with this wine, generally warmer is better. Very enjoyable and unique.

Light gold color, clear and bright. Complex aromas of white peach & yellow pear with hints of verbena, along with orange blossom & honeysuckle, clove and hazelnut spices. Rich, luscious pear & stone fruit on the palate, brightening with air. Layered depth showing spices and florals consistent from the nose, adding hints of wet stone. Voluminous and round, with well-framed acidity and thick plush structure, finishing with nice length of ripeness and spice. Long life ahead on this one, Roussanne-dominant at this stage.
Good value. Viscosity is the first thing you notice, then the pear flavors seem to dominate with a touch of pineapple on the finish. As past vintages show, this will get better in a couple of years but lovely now.

Didn't take good notes on this, but not our favorite TC wine. It had moments of greatness followed by some sips that were off or some that just didn't seem integrated. It was like it had to be at one perfect temp to be great. Similar results on night 2.
Not going to write it off, might just be a preference thing or I didn't let it age long enough.

Young, but in a great place. Nose of stone and tropical fruits. Taste similar to the nose with added pear, Meyer lemon...and a great acid level. Long, tasty finish.

Slo-oxed for ~30 minutes which allowed the wine to open and warm a bit. The nose showed some floral notes and a touch of nuttiness. The medium bodied palate yielded the same floral and nutty notes, along with some stone fruits and touches of citrus, minerality and honey. To our tastes, the acidity could have been a touch higher -- probably why we enjoy the Grenache Blanc and Patelin Blend more. Should hold for several years, and may be better with another year in cellar, or with a full 30 - 60 minute decant now.
Started out tart and bitter but slowly opened up, a great sipping wine, lots of complexity with many flavors, nice structure and good acid which keeps it going to the last sip, don’t drink it too cold, drank with flounder and potato salad, would drink again.
Big Yum. This Roussane driven blend has an incredible aromatic nose revealing layers of goodness. We really love the weight in the palate, which coats your mouth with a great depth of tasty flavors. The finish is sublime. Went great with both Anita's bacon wrapped scallops and Bob's swordfish.
This wine continued to improve with the more air it got. Do yourself a favor and decant this wine for an hour before touching it.

Color: light gold Nose: minerals and poached pear. Apricot. Clove Palate: medium acidity, medium-full body, pretty dense. Poached pear, apple, stone fruit and barrel hazelnut, plus yellow flowers. Strong mineral backbone keeps it fresh and balanced Finish: medium-long
A full sip that is still fresh. I think it needs a bit more time laying down but after 1 hour oxygenation it starts picking up and drinks well already

Lovely over two nights. I'm to understand that this was a warmer vintage resulting in wines that are more lush, this had lots of energy and the Roussanne-based (68%) blend showed Roussanne richness, but only touches of glycerin and no heaviness. Tablas minerality - no surprise as Grenache Blanc (17%) is the next varietal followed by 7%, 4%, and 4%, respectively Picpoul, Clairette Blanch, and Picardan. Those first two minority varietals transmit Tablas limestone so well. 13% abv and I sense a touch of RS. I do wish it showed more spice - I barely picked up a trace and it's something I look forward to in the Esprit Blancs.

Precocious. Showing sensationally already and unlike any prior Esprit Blanc, although it needs an hour of air and a cooler temperature (40-45 vs 55-60) than how I usually serve Esprit Blanc. There is a tongue feel of zingy fizz/petillance, such is the vibrancy of the acidity. After two hours it is really singing, and that tingly core becomes a sweet apricot-honeysuckle brightness, akin to the tight but honeyed acidity in a superior off dry Mosel Riesling.
Wow. Lots of potential here. The addition in this vintage of 4% Clairette Blanche and 4% Picardan may be a factor. 90-94

Takes an open mind. Floral nose with ginger and citrus. Pear added on front palate, then the round, lanolin mouthfeel takes over. Some white pepper on the long-ish finish. Complex. Probably better with food.

Pale yellow color. Fresh and appealing aromatics of pear, citrus and ginger on the nose; lemon curd, more citrus, something nutty and sweet oak on the palate. Medium bodied. Tart and yet sweet finish. Someone else mentioned this is likely due to overripe late harvest components - seems like a reasonable supposition to me. In general, best served cold and with a meal. Fell off as the evening wore on, but enjoyed by all.

Morphs to medium body weight with late harvest (over ripe) fruit and strong notes of brown sugar (oak). Ends with a bit of heat on the somewhat sweet finish. We killed the bottle but it was too sweet for our tastes. Fair to Good.
