Nose: lemon, lemon zest, flinty, wet stones, pure Taste: medium to full bodied, medium+ acidity, lemon, grapefruit, steely, saline, very salty(the most salty wine I have ever tasted), very mineral mainly chalk and slate, nice salty-mineral and acidic finish, huge minerality not much fruit but still good balance

Dulcie, rummaging in the fridge for something white, picks this up that I have just opened. Displaying her characteristic implicit cultural biases she utters some disparaging words about Greek wine, to which I respond that this is good. It is. A pleasant golden straw color, the nose is faintly redolent of cat pee (not altogether wrong in drink) and saline, volcanic and mineral, a little sulfur, creamy mouthfeel, citrus notes, moderate - high acidity. Evidently, she liked it as the rest of the bottle disappeared.

Saline. Green apple, green banana, strong aromatics. Acidic, but the palate is underwhelming. It serves good well, but suffers without it. The bottom half of the bottle was better than the top half.....

Simpler version compared to Sigalas Assrytiko and the Barrel. Nice fruity aroma and mineral taste. Try giving it 2 hours breathing and serve less chilled.

Tight nose, citrus and honey. Interesting flavor profile. Good acidity. Dry minerality, phenolic if not slightly tannic. Slightly honeyed finish, but not sweet.

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, almost swtish frt deftly off-set by an acidity which lends itself to the LONG,balanced, tangy/swt finish with OCCASIONAL *glimpses* of honey. NICELY done for now & through '20, poss a bit longer. My VG+/EXC-. 89 pts WA. [This vendor's $19.95 is as good as anyone on wine-searcher.]

P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, almost swtish frt met by ALMOST puckerish acidity which transitions into a LONG, init still tangy finish, but ULT showing a balanced tangy/swtness with hints of honey. IMPRESSIVE, but the acidity COULD be an issue for some. For not & probably through '21. My EXC-. 89 pts WA. [This vendor's $19.95 is $3 < wine-searcher's next lowest price.]

Pale gold slightly frizzante; medium intensity tropical fruits (lychee),citrus (lemon), wet stone, floral (begonia); hi acidity, med plus body, some texture, med minus alcohol, just enough bitterness to add definition, stinginess enhanced, medium plus finish. Well defined and assertive with acidity to match an acid dish or cut fat

25% addition of Athiri grape here softens the assyrtiko, gives it a rounder and easier to approach younger feel but takes none of that mineral, zingy acidity textbook delivery of Santorini 's great grape. Less saline than a monovariety assyrtiko and very solid 89 from us

Très beau vin, vif et tendu, minéral
et bien salivant. Des citrons et des fleurs
avec de la craie et un peu d`herbes.
Assez long en finale.
Beau RQP.

Nice straw color, hint of lemon and flowers on the nose. Good structure, solid acidity, lemony on the palette. Medium finish with fruit notes.

$59 at Johnny's Half Shell. A little more sweet than I perceived last time. Lemony and minerally.

Nose of green bananas, fruity midpalate with just a bit of RS. Fuller bodied, cloying finish. Wouldn't buy again.
