Lime, white flowers and saline on the nose. Taste is dominated by lime with some peach and petrol. Zingy acidity with just a touch of RS and slate on the finish. Very nice!

Pale lemon – lemon, candied pineapple, pear. Off dry, medium+ acid, 12.5% ABV, medium body, medium+ intensity, medium finish. Paired really well with Digaag Qumbe (Chicken Stew with Yogurt and Coconut).

It had been a while since I had had a Kung Fu Riesling. Before I opened it, I eyed the alcohol level at 12.5% and said to myself, this is going to be dry. Sure enough, this was rather dry - not off dry in my opinion, or similar to prior off dry vintages of Kung Fu that my tasting memory conjured up. Minerality, fruit and finish were all rather subdued. Just didn't have any sparkle or oomph like prior vintages. Nothing really bad about it, but suffers in comparison to prior vintages.

Medium straw in color. Green apple, minerals, peach, lime, honey, and tropical fruit. Green apple, citrus, and gooseberry. The acidity prickles the tongue for a moment before some sweetness appears and mellows the acidity. Lime, green apple, and lingering light acidity on the finish.

Lollypop, pear candy, stone fruit, synthetic fruit aromas, petrol. Light, high acidity, some sweetness, abit short, licorice in the finish. It's drinkable, but not my kind of riesling.

A bit better than last vintage as it felt more energetic and minerally this time, no residual sugar noticeable. Nice generic citrusy nose with good lift and refreshing character. Great buy around $12, although I think another few dollars can go a long way with Riesling.

PnP, chilled. Some minerality and tropical fruit notes on the nose. The palate showed some peach, mango, minerality, citrus, and only a touch of residual sugar. All were balanced by appropriate acidity. Should hold for a couple of years. Great QPR at about $10.

Petrol/mineral notes on the nose. Medium bodied, off-dry, showing floral and candy notes with a bit of mineral and decent acidity. Overall a bit flabby and too sweet for my liking. Had a glass at Birgitta.

Layers of tropical fruit, mostly presenting as pineapple, but interwoven with mango, guava, and more. There's a dynamism and complexity that belies the price. Smooth mouthfeel and prickly acidity. Tasty and fun to drink.

Pale yellow colour, smells of apricot, grapefruit and mirabelle, medium body, has a little bit of residual sugar, so not bone dry, doesn’t have much acidity, but a nice creaminess, has a slightly oily core, which reminds me of a Spätlese/late harvest wine, in the mouth Mirabelle and apricot, in the aftertaste acidity, grapefruit and Mirabelle, good length (15-20 sec), good Riesling.

Bought per recommendation. Looks a like pale, diluted wine. Smells slightly of sweet'ish white wine. And steel? Nose still a lot better than taste. Taste is not much. Some sour and unripe wine, watery mouthfeel. Then a little tang of sour. Then fruit candy. Then more watery. Short. Too expensive, despite cheap. There is better soda out there. Will dismiss any potential re-visit of this wine.

Bright, citrus, floral nose. Medium body, medium acidity, long and dry finish. Apricot, peach and honeysuckle notes. Keeps mouth watering. Had this bottle with spicy Mongolia beef stir fry. Would like to try with sushi and oysters half-shell in the future.

Surprisedly impressive. Bright, crisp, clean, and refreshing. A bit less sweetness would have been better.

Off-dry with lime and peach flavors and a nice acidic spine. Only lightly sweet, this outperforms it's price point. Comparable to Dr. L Riesling.
