Salon Ficofi Paris walkabout tasting and dinner, no detailed tasting notes. From MAG. Still quite primary, dark fruit, oak spice, polished palate. Will need more complexity for a higher score. Wait.

Blueberry and strawberry, crystal-like and weightless mouthfeel paired with super silky tannin. Very charming, actually, one can almost feel a sense of warm breeze while enjoying this

Feusselottes theme lunch at Sinai. Tasted blind. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of red cherries, strawberries, toast oak sweet spice, earth and minerals. Developing. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol 913%), medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweeet red cherries, ripe strawberries, some sour plum fruit, salty mineral, stony earth, sweet spices. Long finish. Very good quality. But really very young and in need of integration. Acidity sensation not showing so well at this point. I was guessing 2016 actually.
Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Beautifully perfumed nose displaying perfectly ripe pure black fruit, blackberry, black cherry, lavender, light caramel, sweet spices and limestone. Excellent concentration, very finely layered pure black fruit, silky and fluid, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a long perfectly ripe black fruit driven finish with violet and crushed rocks at the end. It is so darn delicious but also very pure and serious.

Mugneret-Gibourg Cellar Visit and Tasting (Vosne-Romanée): Tasting at the domaine. Racked/ assembled three weeks ago. Bright red cherry and berry from start-to-finish. Savory spice throughout with very impressive textural excitement and energy through to its very long finish. Better now vs from barrel last summer, 91-92 point potential.

Tasted after 2017 Vosne-Romanée. Generous, pure fruit on the nose, minerality, spices, earth. Good concentration on the palate, bright acidity, vibrant with grippy tannins. Needs time, but very promising. 91-92+

Mugneret-Gibourg Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 3, Visit 2) (Vosne-Romanée): Barrel tasting at the domaine of an assemblage of several new oak barrels because neutral barrels were showing too much reduction. Red cherry and berry with savory spice and elegant, dancing textures flecked with mineral and iron. So charming already, nicely balanced already. Very good weight and length. 90-92 point potential.

Tasty wine, nice and juicy. Not particularly deep or memorable, but quite charming.
