Opened and served within an hour or so with a dinner of New Orleans seafood soup and baked salmon. White fruit and flowers on the nose. The palate was white plums, a little citrus, some white berries with a hint of spice leading to a moderate to long finish.

I used to like the White Coat a lot better. I find them somewhat lacking in acidity, and - even at only 5 years old - tasting a little tired. Very appropriate varietal (Rousanne and Grenache Blanc) character though.

Pop and pour, consumed over 3 hours (Honolulu). Appearance: Clear, medium lemon. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity, developing aromas of pear, apricot, steel, acacia, apple, and wet stone. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium+ body with lovely creamy mouth-feel, medium alcohol (13.8% abv), medium intensity with developing flavors of pear, apricot, honeydew melon and flint with a medium+ finish. Overall a very good effort excelling in balance, complexity, and length. Drink now or over the next 3-5 years.

Pale golden, medium body. Bone dry green apple with hints of vanilla & flint. Lovely with pan seared salmon in a butter-lemon-caper sauce. Enjoy this baby now!

Pale golden color with medium viscosity. Nose of green apple. Initial palate of dry green apple & tart pear. Perfect with Vichyssoise on a hot August evening in the deep and sultry south of New Orleans... followed with Spinach Ravioli Alfredo and cold boiled Shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico.

A very sweet nose with peach and honeysuckle, but some wet stone to finish it off. Also sweet and floral on the palate with a full body, but just a bit of acidity to balance it out.

Closed at first but opened up with pear, stone fruit, and a nice mineral body as it warmed up and had a few hours of air. Started with the bottle at refrigerator temperature but it was much better between cellar and room temp. Delicious and tasted sweet and even more complex paired with Peri-Peri chicken.
I want to wait a few years before trying my next bottle but it's already good now!

Nose of exotic fruits, mandarin orange, and ripe green bean. Palette is full, with med- acid and a med finish. Mostly indecipherable, but then I’m a Rousanne n00b. A nice wine that hopefully gains complexity and interest.

Pale lemon color with slow legs. A bit of grass on the nose and lemon/lime. Apricot, pear and papaya on the palate. Well balanced acidity on a nice long smooth finish.

Delightful! Peach, pear, honey, with a well balanced and refreshing finish. A nice change from most other whites that I have had.

well-balanced and complete on all levels. Lots of nut notes complement the pear, guava and apple fruit.

I bought this based on rarity and providence. I am familiar enough with the Turley line to respect any of their efforts.
Color. Yellow with a tinge of tan.
Nose. Straw, sweet rolls, vanilla, cinnamon, lemon, orange zest.
Palate. Round, rich, voluptuous, lacking rich acidity, a little tannin.
I think this wine peaked a year ago.

Ann liked this more than me. I think it could have used a little more acidity. It did show better closer to room temperature.
On the bright side, I was able to guess the wine as a white Rhône blend. I get lucky every once in a while.

Fantastic white blend. Perfect balance. Light citrus and good earthy complexity. Walks a fine line between complexity vs too much.
