Impressive wine for its price ($15?) from Garagiste. Bit of spice and grapefruit on the nose. Flavors show orange, grapefruit and good spice. But the best part of this wine is its great acidity and minerality. Really elegant and energetic on the finish. Most likely the first wine I've had made from the Jacquerre grape.

White fruits (grapefruit, pear) and a musty note that drives away boredom. Salty note (aka 'minerality') adds further interest. 'Lip smacking acidity' - yes. Second day the wine has a fuller, rounder mouthfeel. Good drinking, excellent QPR.

This has changed quite a bit over the year and I wish I had held it longer. Initially smelled and tasted of apple juice but that quickly mellows to bring out some white pear notes with some citrus. Nice minerality and acidity. Third day brings out crystaline lemon with an excellent lean feel and lip smacking acidity. Really nice and drinking above its price point. Instead of Sauv Blanc it now seems to resemble real lean Chard like a still Champagne or very young cool vintage Chablis.

Very pleasant drink and great for spring, now that it's here. Not as crisp/severe as some might expect, but makes for a better aperitif, which is how it was drunk.

Only a brief taste but much as described below. Pleasantly floral nose and a bit more fruit than expected to buffer the acids of a citrus flavor. Refreshing. Will revisit next night.

Nose shows quince, light grape fruit with a note of white florals, almost baby powder and some minerality. Palate is strong quince with some grapefruit, touch of lemon. Some light sweetness on the midpalate. Similar to a Sauvignon Blanc. Very light on the palate with some bitter rind element developing as it warms up some. Best served very cold.

Good straight-foarward white. Similar to Sauvignon Blanc, with some grassy/citrus notes. Good w/ Scallops.
