Food wine of the best kind. Accompained pizza made at home with roasted mushrooms, eggplant and oeppers in tomato sauce on from-scratch drust.. Superb match. Not a wine to contemplate. Years remain to be the right acompainment to simple food. Ask it to be what it is and you will be satisfied and pleased. Chronologically more ready than the 2016 = early maturity.

Pretty impressive showing in this vintage - nicely concentrated, yet maintaining freshness, and balance throughout. Certainly better after 1hr open. Delivers above its € 13,98 price point. Drink thru 2025. Fun, and with some good elegance. recommended
Medium body, bright ruby color. Impressive aroma of red fruits, anise and spices. Predominantly strawberry and cranberry palate complements by spicy finish. Very pleasant and charm young nebbilo, velvety and easy drinking, complex and balanced, refreshing juicy acidity and silky tannins. Food friendly, very enjoyable with mozzarella ravioli in white porcini sauce. Serve 17º - 20º. Open half hour ahead. Drink now while young and next eight years.

So nebbiolo, yet very accessible even at this young age. delicate red fruit, spice, earthiness, dried flowers, fresh acids and tannic pull (but not too much). Lovely.

Deep ruby color. Nose shows deep cherries and plums with a pleasantly smoky, earthy element, along with mushroom and rose petals. Nice grip on the palate, fresh acid, the balance is on point, and lots of black cherry and tart red currant fruit. Lots of rose petals, herbal tea, along with beefy, saucy, mushroom notes. Fun fruit, spicy and floral complexities. This opens up a lot with air, and could use some time. What a whole lotta Nebbiolo goodness for 25 bucks. From vineyards in Monteu Roero, aged 10 months in old Slavonian oak.

Pop and pour. Saved half in a 375ml bottle. Purple color. Nose offers black plum and blackberries. Wonderful fresh fruit nose. Flavors are black berry fruits, with a touch of fresh grapes. Youthful and lively, this offers a fresh taste of nebbiolo grapes picked in the vineyard. Sufficient acidity to keep it lively and avoid any candied profile. Enjoyable as an easy going wine, offering up a possible insight into the 2017 vintage for barolo.
I did not get the oak and tannins that other tasters picked up.

Good vintage and seemingly nice fruit ruined by the use of oak that has made the wine overly sappy, changed the tannin and creates a bitterness that takes over the sweetness of the lovely ripe fruit. It actually really shits on all of the bright fruit flavours. Shame. Might be a better wine in a few years but never as good as it could have been.

Slender and fine Langhe Nebbiolo of the softer kind. Tannins are compliant and the red fruit presents freshness in this semi-ripe wine.

Still very nice and plenty fresh, but perhaps missing some of the lovely red fruit.

Reasonable wine but nothing to really interesting. I expected more on the fruit, earth, and finish. Did OK with a mushroom ravioli

A bit disappointed by the sharp tannins and acidity of this wine. Perhaps it will be better with more lay down time.

Not overly expressive, seemed muted.
Maybe flawed, didn't detect and cork taint.
