Very good wine, especially for the price. Flowery, but with a nice acid tang. Good one to serve at a party or have a few bottles around for a weekday chicken, fish, or light pasta.

Lower acid and ready to go. Some cedar notes. Melon, floral, apple more than citrus. A couple big fans in the tasting group and some lukewarm reception. It's an everyday wine and would appeal to those not looking for a challenge. Doesn't entirely taste like a Burgundy.

Seeing a ton of bottle variation from this case purchase. This one was darker than others. Slightly advanced oxidation? Not fair to assign a number rating. A bit disappointed though. When these wines are on, they are excellent and an incredible value. This one missed the mark for sure

Vin Chicago Pickup Party & Tasting (Seven Bridges Golf Club): Retailer tasting. Surprise of the tasting for me, a nice little wine for the price. NOtes of melon, Pink Lady apples, honeysuckle and crushed stone. Flavors of pear and apple, along with an earthy clay quality and maybe just a hint of something woody? Really well done and enjoyable. $19.99.

Light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe citrus fruit aromas of lemons/limes, apples & peach with mineral overtones, some floral notes, stony, chalky and a ever-so-slight hint of toasty oak. Medium-light bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth texture, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes, apples & pears with stones, minerals & a hint of toasty oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it would be interesting to see how it continues with its development with additional aging.

Bright and charming Macon - better not too cold.
