(Disgorged in 2019, 100% Chardonnay) Light yellow colour with a greenish hue. Youthful nose showing citrus, minerals and cream in a pleasant way. Palate shows a nice and fresh acidity with a creamy mid, there’s potential for the future fir sure, but right now it’s lacking some intensity on the shorter finish. This should reward a few more years cellar time to integrate better.. (Best 2022-2032)

Pale lemon colour. Small and lively bubbles. Medium and developing nose with ripe green apples, ripe lemon, toast, toasted walnuts, brioche, butter and wet stone. Medium taste of ripe green apples, ripe lemon, toast, roasted walnuts, brioche and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Vintage Champagne. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well as an aperitif, or with cured meat.

Very light gold color with a steady and fine mousse. Persistent bouquet of warm lemon cake, toasted marshmallow, and dry-roasted nuts. I love the balanced dosage (whatever it is) on the palate along with the vibrancy and luxurious texture. The complexity didn’t really start to come out until after an hour open. So delicious now, I’m not sure if it’s worth cellaring for longer but it would be nice to have several to follow over time. 5+12+18+8= 93

The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting #24, Wines of Washington (Lyon Again, Eugene, OR): A very nice mix of white citrus, green apple, chalk and dough. Great acidity and mouthfeel. No drop on day 2.

Le Tour de Champagne-Perswijn-Amsterdam-11/22-2021: very refreshing acidity, ripeness, gentle and soft mousse, not so expressive, more a gentle style.

Brioche, good mineral impressions, full bodied and complex. Citrus. Good balance between acidity and a touch of sweetness. Very beautiful wine.
