characteristic pale bronze color, layered scents of yellow fruit skins, pineapple pulp and cherry pits, fresh, with orange zest lacing flavors of cherry, starfruit and peach skins, a downright beautifully brushed wine, still selling for a decent price and always invigorating, nice at the table

We enjoy this bottle everytime we grab it. Light peach-colored hue. Soft nose. Medium-bodied. Drier, sophisticated palate for a rose. Great with foods with good fat content, like cheese.

Interesting Rose gold color. Very mild nose, slight citrus. Pink grapefruit, hint of raspberry. Nice balance and finish. Quality rose. Oh, and delivered by the Olympic Provisions "Hambulance" here in Portland - Go Local!

Good QPR at $14. Nicely lean and fresh. Provides the refreshment you want when quaffing. Not a lot of complexity or generousity of flavor but nothing amiss.

Ultra pale pink color. Drank a glass over an hour plus. I don't know, this didnl't do a lot for me. Seemed a bit flat and uninteresting. Nothing wrong with it, but it just seemd kinda meh. Citus and melon.
Hmmm, not doing it for me tonight. Getting a sweet watermelon note that overpowers the typical crisp minerality. Still better than Provençal plonk. 87 on the rosé scale. EDIT: It's not you, its me. The next night perfectly fine sitting outside with grilled salmon and charred green beans. Drinking like it should. 90 on said scale.
There is regular wine scale and there is the rosé wine scale. Rosé wines are easier to get right and generally are built to be consumed in the near term. Aging for one or two years is something the better ones can do, and only a few are really worth aging beyond that. But the good ones elevate the red fruit and crispness with minerality and lightness. Sweetness without syrup. Fontsainte’s Gris de Gris is one of the better ones, but still should be drunk within the first few years. Still, year in and year out, it has that elevated goodness. The rosé season has only just opened its brief window here and this is the first of six opened. Enjoyed outside with grilled skinless boneless chicken thighs marinated in a yogurt paprika mix and charred blue lake and yellow string beans, the 2018 Gris de Gris was just magnificent. 95 points on the rosé scale.

Some green melon and strawberry notes here that were quite nice, but I will note that the 2017 tasted 1 week ago was preferred due to a little more weight, purity, and complexity. Not sure if that's from age or vintage, and the 18 is no slouch, but just my preference

The color is so transparent as to barely be rose'. The faintest of the faintest salmon pink color. Which leads you to wonder will this be a dried out nothing wine? Not a chance. The color belies its concentrated and yet ethereal impact. It is delicate, elegant and ultra light on its feet and yet there is a fascinating level of minerality backed by and assembly of difficult to pin point; citrus, stone and tropical notes. Very balanced and very pretty! 12.5% At minimum, intriguing and a nice yin yang to my small cellar portfolio of rose'. There is more "there there" then you'd expect and yet perplexing to describe. Paid $15 locally at Sunfish Cellars.

Delicious aromatic rose. The flavors are almost meaty so this is a wine that you can pair with much heartier fair.

I really enjoyed this with a simple stir fry. Purchased as part of a stay at home sampler. Will buy again if I see it.

Melon, ultra-ripe strawberry and fruit cut with bright crisp minerality. Charming, and has depth too.

Fresh and bone dry. Good fruit, better than the 2017 by a fair margin

Gabe's. Grenache, carignan and mourvedre. Pale, very dry and balanced. I've had some vintages that were a tad sweeter but this one's spot-on.

For $15 I need to grab more of these. To the west of Bandol but almost an equally soulful off dry rose' from the south of France.
