Recommended by waiter @ DCC in place of Brewer-Clifton that was sold out. A tad simple and closed off at first but within 15-20 minutes it was opening up and fleshing out. Had a lovely creaminess and went well with the richer lunchtime fare.

Retail $35. Under DIAM 10. Wow, this wine, which I have tasted for the last two iterations of the Largest Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir, continues to impress. It once again clocks in as really close to a whoa with great fruit (Bing and black cherry), considerable earth (black, freshly tilled), and a brambly, almost garrigue aspect that is enthralling. The palate is, well, magnificent, with fruit initially, followed by a jolt of acidity, followed by a splash of minerality, leading to a layered, lengthy finish. Yowza. And a whoa.
A beautiful Pinot Noir. Tried this at Coast at Santa Monica. Bold, for a Pinot, with beautiful, well balanced and smooth flavors. Will be looking for this again.

The Third Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir (My House, Houston, TX): Retail $30. Tart, lean, and with a touch of funk, this is well within the realm of “classic Pinot.” The fruit is front and center on the palate until a wave of acidity comes in on the mid-palate. The finish is long, spicy, and a bit hot, but this is a nice wine. Excellent. 92 Points. thedrunkencyclist.com

Just had this PN recommended to me at my local market. I don’t like flabby PN’s, and this one is just right. Smooth, lots of mild cherry and black fruit notes. Not at all Jammie. Closer to a merlot. with sushi and perfect match. Will go and buy more.

This is a ok Pinot. Very fruit forward red berry, almost cotton candied notes on mid-pallet. Not my favorite but decent. WAs worth a try but not a re-buy.

92+. Probably one of the best values in Sonoma for Pinot. Zesty without being sharp. A slight roundness in the mouth but great balance with the tannin already. Raspberry/choc truffles on nose. Berries follow. Good length on finish with a hint of orange zest. Great stuff especially at $25/bottle.
Very tasty. I had consumed several of the Jane's vineyard wines previously but I really like this Russian River valley version more. Zesty strawberry and raspberry notes with enough depth and acid to hold up to food, in this case a shrimp scampi surprisingly enough instead of a more typical buttery chardonnay. Only the slightest of cherry notes on the vibrant finish which was still there even on night three. So it is young, let it breathe or for sure save some for the next evening. Good value in California pinot noir.

Strawberry, raspberry, mint, deeper earth tones of RRV but not plummy or cherry-like. Great QPR and evidence of higher value in California over Oregon for pinot.

Pietros: Really nice Pinot, complex flavors of the RRV PN. The color is medium, the nose classic fruit and vegetable stall, the finish long and echoing. Balanced and elegant, I could drink this every night.

SIA Wine Week; 3/4/2019-3/8/2019 (Singapore Airlines): Huge whiff of strawberry, mint, and grass. Palate was rather straw driven, with some fruity berries, and cedar on the back. A good wave of mint chocolate on the finish. Nice!
