Hugely aromatic. Cherry, pomegranate, cinnamon, and a nice touch of that hair-of-the-wet-dog thing that Burgundy acquires in secondary development. Tannins are resolved and acidity begins to fade in the second glass. Still enjoyable but time to drink up.

This is my last bottle of this wine and I'm still conflicted. Tonight this had very good depth and complexity, but the green , vegetal notes permeated the wine and the finish, which was still dominated by fairly firm, chalky tannins. The mouthfeel for me is also abit on the flabby side. I don't love it, but I don't dislike it. I think I'm glad this is my last bottle so I don't have to think about it anymore.

Still more vegetal than anything else, but some dilute red fruit does make an appearance. Today this left abit of an oily feel on my tongue. Not bad, but for me it was more interesting than enjoyable.

A pretty basic burg. I was hoping for more given it was a recommendation. Red fruit and a hint of strawberry and spice. Fair amount of acid with still a little green poking through. The fruit is there, but not distinguishable enough to pick up the subtileness. WNBA

Nose is fairly muted on this bottle, but flavor profile is much the same as last time, dark fruit, earthy, hints of mint. Stony minerality is also noticeable on this bottle. Nice.

Very good. Clear dark ruby in the glass. Pretty floral nose with a little bit of earth scents. On the palate some dark berry fruit (blueberry?), lots of earth, hints of mint. Kind of thick mouthfeel and dry on the finish. Drinking nicely now.

Pinots on Friday: Very green, vegetal nose with a very vegetal presence on the palate. Some pretty red Pinot fruit and licorice make an appearance on the mid palate but over all the fruit is quite reserved. The tannins on the finish are also very green and firm. Interesting but not my favorite vintage.

Ladybugs on the nose. Palate is pretty much devoid of fruit. I guess this is my first experience with the green meanies. But if you can get past the lack of fruit/sweetness, it is actually a very rewarding experience. There is excellent structure, ample acidity and tannin. It is clearly a well-made wine in a difficult vintage. My wife and I both enjoyed it for what it was.
I would advise drinking now though as time will not improve its shortcomings.

Nose of pretty red fruit, spice, underbrush and a somewhat pungent green herbaceous aroma. The same flavors are reflected in the palate but I'm not sure yet if I find that green herbaceous flavor intriguing or off-putting. This wine is med bodied and the tannins are still abit firm.

Effusive, balanced, fruity nose. Still quite tannic but with good fruit and acidity. Coffee on the finish. Very good but not great. Tasted at Paley's Place, Portland, OR.

Wine Education Service - Fine Red Burgundy (Imperial College): Showing plenty of age. A very vegetal nose, peas with fungi, interesting and complex, with volcanic notes - and then the fruit comes through. There's still some fruit in the mouth, it's fairly smooth but with evidence of tannins, a bit of pepper comes in at the finish, this might improve over the next 3 to 5 years, medium length.

Focused, sophisticated, complex nose of eucalyptus/menthol. Bright and gently acidic, light. Pomegranate? Long, bright finish. With time, deepens slightly, but remains light.

Remarkable bouquet. Very strong floral notes, almost overdone. Not sure I like this but such a remarkable flavor, such big fruit I want to see how it develops

Still green and abit vegetal, but today I'm finding the green notes to be less off putting and more intriguing. An interesting bottle of wine.

Fruity and well rounded, perhaps not that sophisticated but drinkable nonetheless.

Much darker than previous bottles. This has evolved a lot in a short time. Tar, under the fruit. A great pleasure, must get more.
