Fresh sage, pine needles, , orange, lemon juice on the nose (which is intense). The palate is pretty consistent but more fruit driven. Full bodied, medium + acid. I love the herbal things going on in this wine.

Lovely, moderately aromatic nose of pear and flowers. Nice mouth feel. Medium body. Lovely peachy pear profile with some minerality. Good but subdued acidity. Moderate but enticing finish. Getting better in the glass. Very good QPR.

P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by a crisp acidity that carries the process into & through the LONG, balanced, tangy/swt finish. Nicely done for now & through '21 in a very food compatible style. My EXC-; [This vendor's $11.95 is $3.54 < wine-searcher's lowest!]
Note: Also tasted on 9/28 & 12/7/19.

P: Med, poss LM, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) nicely counterbalanced by an acidity which subtly defines the wine into & through the LONG, BALANCED finish with a delightful tangy/swtness. VERY nicely done for ow & through '21, poss EARLY '22. My EXC-/EXC, poss the higher for QPR? [This vendor's $11.95 is $3.54 < wine-searcher's lowest!]
Note: Today I enjoyed this CONSIDERABLY > when 1st tasted on 9/28/19!

N: A *bit* of barnyd, or at least mushrooms/forest floor, that evolves into a melding of lemons & minerals
P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?), acidity managing to balance as it transitions into a LONG, poss very, VERY slightly faint, tangy/swt finish. For now & into at least EARLY '21. My VG+ would likely be higher IF this had a tad > acidity. [This vendor's $11.95 is $3.54 < wine-searcher's lowest!]

This was so much better than I expected! Great with a Napoletana pizza.
