As my previous note. Drinking better than expected. It still has the citrus character but also hints of tropical fruits including pineapple. Soft and very pleasant but with some richness; quite long. Good value on offer. Very consistent from year to year.

Disappointing bottle- maybe getting over the hill? Muted nose - some smoke, buttery pineapple, lemony flowers, and malo stonefruits . Medium acidity, with sour saline flavours. Lacks substance and character. Drink up this year !

At under $13, this a real value, simple but with nice, honest low tones of lemon and fruit and an adequate, but sightly flat balance and a clean finish. I would rather drink this than many wines at twice the price.
Not for the cellar but at a price conscious affair, nothing to be convicted about you can drink it also.

Drinking as a fine weeknight wine, typical Macon-Villages consistent from year to year. I drank over 3 nights. Interestingly, the other drinker in the house had vodka mixed with soda each of those nights.

Fine value 2018 Louis Jadot Mâcon-Villages ($14). Sharp light-mid green gold; light citrus, pineapple, floral nose (unoaked); mid-body; softening acids; long round fruity Chardonnay finish. w/appetizers. 15.5 UC Davis scale; 89 other scales.

Great value in Burgundy chardonnay. Little oak, some minerality, some lemon curd, but a great mouthfeel. At $12 a great introduction to the potential of burgundian chardonnays. Will have this on hand.

Sticks and stones won’t break my bones- but this one has all stoney profile with nice warm green apple and a tightly wound body with a fresh clean finish. For $12 I’m in!

Fragrant, attractive nose with citrus character. Rich palate with citrus and good fruit. Not a great Macon but very drinkable and more than acceptable at the price (discounted to £7.50 in some supermarkets). Good body and structure with no oak; very pleasant on its own and a good accompaniment to roast chicken. After a night in the fridge, it had lost some lemon fruit and developed more caramel. Less attractive. Drink, don't keep for too long once opened.

Decent. Not particularly expressive; a bit of white flower and fleshy peach. Shows the heat of the vintage with just a hint of ripeness in the fruit quality and less-than rippling acidity but still reasonably fresh. Short, inauspicious finish. You could do worse.

Palate: Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body. Medium (-) primary flavors of green fruit (apple), citrus fruit (lemon and lemon peel), secondary MLF flavors (butter and cream). Short finish.
Conclusions: Good wine. Can drink now but suitable for aging.

Coravin accessed May 14th 2020 A: Pale lemon N: Medium (+) intensity. yellow apple, grilled lemon, smoke, butter. P: Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol , medium (+) body, medium intensity, medium finish C: Balance of ripe fruit and acid. The wine has modest length and intensity but lacks complexity. It is of good quality and an inexpensive every day wine. There is insufficient intensity, complexity and acidity to allow this to improve much over time. Unsuitable for ageing.

Bought 6b for 11/b from a local suburban independent shop last week. Pale gold; white tree fruit that follows on the palate, subtle oak, round, good mouthfeel. Held well for 24h but decline after that. Simple, tasty, glad to have more as an everyday Burg blanc. Not for keeping more than 1-2 years. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: For me, scores on a "100-point scale" are misleading. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. This is notable when considering quality, age, and price.

For me this is just a nice go to midweek Chardonnay sipper. Nothing complex but nice lemon acidity light gooseberry and tart apple fruit and smooth finish. For the price at $12 beats anything you could get from California but obviously that's my style don't like the California new over oaked butter bombs.
Love Jadot but this is pretty bland. Fruity and floral but not really hitting any of the citrus. Super young so who knows but at the price and effort, who cares.

Medium lemon in color. Lemon, gooseberry and lemon zest. Be warned though, acidity is intense and piercing. Very dry, alcohol is low. Mid length finish. Better than the Rully and costs less than half. A basic wine but a really good value IMHO. I'd be interested to know who this tastes 4 years from now.

Nice apple and coconut aromas. Slightly unctuous medium body. Solid acidity leads to crisp green apple and citrus flavors. There a very mild salinity as the finish coasts into wet stone and mineral.
