Extremely pleasant Riesling; labeled dry but the rich fruit adds full flavors; some think it has a bit of sweetness but not. Ages well; wish I had more put down!

A lovely, aromatic riesling. On the nose I get lemon-lime soda, ripe golden delicious apples, white flowers and crushed gravel. The high acid is balanced by a ripe, fruity palate. Perhaps there is a little residual sugar. The wine finishes with seashells and ocean air.

Excellent Riesling, somewhere between dry and off dry but no sweetness, just great fruit. Age has been kind to it. Fruit driven Riesling (little mineral) with citrus and pear on the nose that continue on the palate; enough structure and acid to deal with lighter foods. Great to sip as well.

Middle of the road but I was wanting some smoke/petrol/bite to it that someone even said “oh that’s sweet” but I think because there’s a little bit of sappy/over ripe orchard fruit and there’s acidity but there’s nothing lifting it up.

Slightly floral nose, not overpowering. White peach and melon flavor. Nice acidity. A very well crafted dry Riesling! Reminded me of a trip to Alsace. Paired with a chicken and coconut creamed corn recipe from the NY Times. Really worked with the ginger and coconut flavors.

Excellant effort in this less than wonderful vintage. Fortunately, Riesling transcends a lot of bad weather. I like the new owners decision to vnlify the dry riesling with less residual sugar. Great nose, palate and acidity. The acidity really makes this wine special.

Interesting Finger Lakes Region Riesling. Very "old world" in nature made with spontaneous indigenous yeast fermentation. Bright clean, clear flavors of apple, pear and a dollop of minerals. It has a nice, slightly oily texture with no hint of petrol. Quite nice and enjoyable. Great QPR and given the acidity probably one that can improve further with some cellaring.

This is, unsurprisingly, a very nice Riesling. Lots of apples, with suggestions of red fruits. Suggestion of sweetness on nose, then nice layered palate with bright but balanced acidity. Super pleasant, tasty Riesling.

Tasted at the winery. Apple, pear and just a touch of melon on a nicely aromatic nose. Close to medium bodied (12% ABV) with white apple and pear notes upfront and through the middle, backed with some green melon and pleasantly tart acidity. There's good density through the middle and the fruit notes seem quite well defined, aided by the acidity and tart notes on the back. Overall, felt like the wine demonstrated good balance and is drinking well at present, with potential for some positive evolution over the next few years.

Always a class act. Have enjoyed earlier vintages more but Weimar never produces a stinker.

Nice mild stone fruits and citrus fruit, tiny traces of grey mineral, but wanting a bit more lift or bite.
