Solid medium-bodied wine with some crisp apples and minerality along with a bit of floral character on the nose. A solid match for herb roasted chicken. I think these get better and fuller with 5 years of age so I don't drink them too soon after release. Should be good now and for another two years +.

Light, good acid balanced by fruit, drank with sushi and snapper, drank easily, refreshing, $49 at Aurora Anguilla Japanese restaurant, would drink again.

Tasting Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon ((kg arr.)): What a great surprise. So much of Comte Lafon's classical white Burgundy style is put into Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon located in Southern Burgundy. And the prices make them Best Buys. This Wine: Medium lemon color. Clearly more intense and warm than 2020, which makes sense because of 2018 heat. At the same timer more rustic style for some reason. Medium acidity, alcohol, body, intensity and finish. 92+

Clear light yellow. A bit of reduction, lemon, green apple and spice. Dry textured fresh citrus and mineral flavours. Only slightly riper than a Chablis. Not overdone.

Light straw color, white stone fruit and hints of melon, light- to medium-bodied, rounded texture, very balanced finish. The consistency and quality of wines from this producer are worth heralding.

Bright pale yellow color with hint of green in center. Old world legs reflecting lower alcohol at 13. Upon opening, the nose was showing lemon, candied lemon rind, hint of lemon grass and more wet stone than in prior tastings Palate presents acidity upfront with a touch more sweetness (vanilla wafer cookie?) and suggestions of stone fruit. Long finish for a lighter wine. Nose faded significantly after 3 hours. Glad I have a case and will enjoy for two or three years.

PnP. Pale yellow. Minerals on the nose. Medium bodied, minerals, fruits, very nice. Elegant, tasty. A modest white burgundy from a great producer, at a reasonable price point. Improved as we drank it, it would probably benefit from more air time. My dinner companions (one of whom is an experienced burgundy taster) scored this a few points lower (high 80s) than I have. But I found this had just a little bit more complexity to make it interesting. (89-91).

Medium gold, body. Pronounced aromas of pear, grapefruit, butter.. and some flint/smoke?. Dry, but balanced with fruit and delicate honey on the palate. Medium+ finish. Though not a top shelf white burgundy, I'm pleasantly surprised by the complexity.

On the nose, lemon peel, apples. On the palate, juicy green apples, some tropical fruit, peach. Finishes off with flinty minerality and lemony acidity. A miracle of tension and freshness in a hot year.

Solid white burgundy. Yellow apple, citrus, medium weight, no shortage of fruit but with good acidity, nice minerals. Good QPR now that good St Aubin 1er and village Puligny/Chassagne/Meursault have shot up in price. Maybe I should be paying more attention to the Maconnais.

Parfymert og rik. Generøs hvitvin som har fått et ekstra puff fra den varme årgangen. Litt flabby syre. Litt enkel i forhold til tidligere utgaver (14 og 17).

Burgundy & Oregon with TCWC (Chicago, IL): Fairly tropical on the nose, with more spice and riper fruits, as well as a hint of stone fruit. The palate follows through on that promise, and this certainly has some of the breadth you would expect from a mâconnais wine. Nonetheless, this holds its own quite well, and the acidity is there to balance the somewhat fatter fruit. Despite the hot year, this doesn't get over the top.

Consistent with my 12-9-20 tasting note. Continues to be a great value from Burgundy from a great winemaker.

Ouvert et bu. Joli vin comme souvent chez ce producteur. Poires, pommes, une note de miel, agréable à l’apéritif.
